TOTALLY FREE McD's Chicken Sandwich/Biscuit
Not meaning to tread on Poolside's glory or IDrinkMolson's alert on the same topic in the other thread, but I thought this might deserve a separate slot.
The reason is that the other thread titles lists a purchase requirement, and I usually don't pay any attention to those, especially since the cost of drinks often negates much of the savings for the 'free' item. In all fairness, in this case, a chicken sandwich & free tea for around a buck seems to be a good deal anyway.
However, I thought it might be good to alert people who like free food (without having to buy the overpriced drinks) to LOOK FOR THE COUPONS IN YOUR DVD ORDERS. I usually just automatically dump all of the ads (offers for business cards, book clubs, etc.) without even looking at them. It was only because the McDonald's coupon sheet had a distinctive lavendar color that I hadn't seen before that made me take a second look. After seeing that each sheet had TWO free food offers (chicken biscuit & sandwich), I promoptly dug out several from the "clean" wastebasket (paper only). Since Barnes and Noble were so helpful in mailing out several recent 15% off orders in individual boxes, I ended up with about 12 sheets (so far). Also found some in Amazon boxes, and I understand from the other thread that some have found them in Sci-Fi Book Club mailings (and BMG, too, I believe).
We just tried a chicken sandwich last night. Very tasty even if (as others have pointed out) it is a blatant ripoff of Chick-Fil-A. Tastes even better when brought home to be 'doctored up' with more condiments.
Apologies if this thread is redundant (mods delete), but thought it might be worth putting the "Free" part in the title so the coupon offers wouldn't get overlooked (as almost happened to me).

Pretty good sandwhich. Probably the only decent thing on the menu.

Yesterday got a B2G1 order from B&N that had THREE of the coupon sheets...one per item (even though they were ordered together).
Also got another one from Amazon, so keep your fingers crossed.
We may get tired of chicken for breakfast & lunch/supper each day before June 30. If so, we'll be giving some of these away to friends who have several kids to feed.

I've received the coupons in at least 5 different mailers/orders, including Designer Checks junk mail of all things.
I doubt I'll be able to use them all before they expire in a couple weeks.

I've been getting quite a few from Amazon lately. They expire on June 30th so time is running out pretty quickly.

DVD Talk Limited Edition
I've gotten a bunch from Amazon, and one from Citi, and one from Discover.
Last Saturday I stopped to get the biscuit one in the morning, and I asked for a large coffee and 2 hashbrowns too. They gave me another chicken biscuit free?!
