S8E4 and S8E5 are now working.
S8E4 is 1 free CD.
S8E5 says "Choose your 3 Free CDs OR Get 8 CDs For The Price Of 1!"
Which I guess you could view as a 3 free with an optional 5-for-1 tacked on.
I'm going to hold off on using S8E5 in case a default deal comes up that includes free shipping with a large order.
Anyone know how often those default deals change over?

Good find Spaceknight! I checked earlier this morning and they were not working.
I think the default deals change when the new Featured Selection is out. From their Help section:
I have been hoping to get a default deal that includes free shipping to tack these free cds onto, but no luck so far...
Also the S8R1 and S8R2 codes give BUY 1 GET UNLIMITED $0.99 CDs
I think the default deals change when the new Featured Selection is out. From their Help section:
Depending on your Communication Preference, you will either receive the BMG Music Service Magazine about every six weeks (up to 10 times per year) or email updates about every 3 weeks (21 times per year).

Unbelievable! I still haven't found uses for a couple of the old "3 free" codes. Now I have 2 more!
For those into Christian music, they just added the new (really good) Superchick album, the new Kutless album and the new 20th anniversary Amy Grant Lead Me On 2-disc album today. And if you haven't seen it, they have the 2 new Keith Green albums, including one of all live music. Great stuff.

Well, if you haven't already, I would suggest looking for music from Astralwerks. They are my FAVORITE label so to get music from them for free (only paying shipping and handling) it is an awesome deal... one that makes me VERY, VERY HAPPY!

A good source for replacement Jewel CD cases
Hi All,
I apologize if this type of topic shouldn't be posted in this forum, but I could really use help in finding a good source for high quality Jewel CD cases at a reasonable price.
In addition to buying 100+ CDs I've bought through BMG, by using your suggestions, I had bought several hundred more through eBay and craigslist.
I've made a few Jewel CD purchases, but most just have not been of a high quality. I'm looking for high quality cases that won't crack when I try to take the tray out the case.
Anyway, thanks in advance for your help

Some suggestions
I've bought jewel cases from OfficeMax and Staples, each under the store's brand. The OfficeMax cases were thin and flimsy, with poor finish. The Staples cases were very similar to the ones I find with new CD's, and were quite acceptable. Maxell also distributes good quality cases, but they're more expensive. I've read that Sleeve City (online) has good cases.

Another useful search by label is "RVG". That brings up the Rudy Van Gelder remasters. Jazz fans know how good those are.

Thanks for pointing that out. I went ahead and grabbed something before they catch that and fix it.

Also, The S8E5 code allows you to get 3 - 3Cd sets for free + shipping w/out having to buy anything at regular price.
It also may allow you to buy 3 2CD sets, but I havent checked into it.

S8E5 gives free shipping on my entire order EXCLUDING box sets. Using that in conjunction with my default offer (B1 get unlimited at $0.99) I have 35 items in my cart and the total price is $51.66 for an average of $1.48 per CD!!! Greatest code ever outside of the box set one about 6 months ago!!!
Subtotal: $51.66
S & H: Free
Tax: $0.00
Total: $51.66

Is anyone else getting this? It's not working at all for me. For me I'm getting the three free, then buying one at full price, then getting four more free, then buying another at full price, then the unlimited $0.99 is kicking in, and there's shipping on everything.

I think the B1 get .99 default deal will change after tonight, though they will probably do it again, but it is definately the best one to use the code on.

You get the free shipping with code S8E4, not E5... I thought it was only good for one cd, so I wasted a couple of accounts that I could have really racked up on ....

Well damn. I did the same thing you did. I wasted that code on single CDs. Not that it really matters, I wouldn't have been able to find many CDs I want anyway. I haven't even used all the past free CD codes yet.
