Limited Offer! Apple iPOD Silver Nano 4GB $99!

Limited Offer! Apple iPOD Silver Nano 4GB for $99 FREE SHIPPING!

I just saw this right now and posting it up for my fellow dvdtalkers! Here is the website: http://www.buy.com/prod/apple-3rd-ge...207471094.html

Not a bad deal. You can get this same reconditioned model from the apple store with an 15 itunes card free for $129 the difference the apple one has a one year warranty the buy one has a 60 day warranty.

Showing the list price as $199 on Buy.com's site seems misleading since the unit never sold for more than $149.

They have that price now and then. I got mine for $100-$20 off coupon, so it helps to wait for coupons (also got a 500 gig external HD for $75 after coupon). Buy.com has deals fairly frequently.

Actually, Apple's site no longer includes the $15 iTunes card, but it's now only $99, with free shipping and the one-year warranty.

I had to pay sales tax, but by going through Discover's website, I'll be getting another 5% cash back.

(Thanks, OP! I never would have bothered comparison shopping on Apple's site without this thread....)

Personally, I think the extra 10 months of warranty is worth the $20, but to each, his/her own. (Not to mention, my impression of buy.com's track record is somewhat... fallible when it comes to shipping estimates.)

I paid $13 through Squaretrade for a 2-year warranty.

I have not had good experiences with refurb nano's (I had to send back 3 and on the last one the "Apple Genius" got very accusing)
