I don't know if ALL of the mystery boxes offered at the same time have the same stuff in them or not, but here's what one person reported getting in their Valentine's Day mystery box:

Source: http://www.thingfling.com/forum/yaf_...tines-Day.aspx
1 Altec Lansing Inmotion IMT1
1 Altec Lansing Inmotion IM4X
1 Newpoint strip surge protector
1 Maxell big screen cleaner kit
1 Ilo 1GB player but it doesn't power up
2 Leather PDA cases
2 3 packs of Maxell CD cases
1 set of corded headphones no brand name
1 GPX FM radio for kids
1 Monster performer 500 speaker cable 3 foot
1 Coleman spotlight bag
2 Monster Cable L T shirts. I wear XL but i'll find someone that will wear them.
1 Thingfling Fan that is awesome
That one was $19.99.

Yeah, seems like it's kinda hit or miss. One person reported getting this in his Xmas box (for $19.99):

Got mine in today. Its obvious the closeout deal was with radio shack.

Here is the run down....

100ft long RG6 coax cable (This would be nice if I didnt work for a cable company and already have butt loads of it.)

2 12ft Monster Subwoofer cable (Will come in handy. Do have one already)

2 Night Owlz night lights (Love these. Have 2 from another mystery box)

6ft phillips s-video cable. (Have tons but can always use more)

12cd holder car visor (Can always use these)

Radio Shack DVD Player Karaoke Mic Adapter (No idea what im gonna do with this)

Phillips World Power adapter (No need for this. I dont leave the USA often)

A cd holder pouch. (Got lots of these)

Some car case for a radio shack car kit (Worthless)

Laptop Surge Protector (Got 2 of these at a radio shack store closeout. They are good but I dont need three)

Belkin Ipod holder. (Dont own an ipod. Never will)

Shake Flashlight. (Filler)

And last but not least......

No thing fling mystery box could ever be complete without.....

HEAD PHONES!!!!!!!

Colby over the ear set. (Cheap. Have tons)

Panasonic over the head, foldable with volume control (Nice)

Philips Over the ear headphones with mic (Eh, ok for mobile phones.)

Over all not too bad. I hope the next one isnt radio shack. I have tons of stuff that place sells.

TF is like woot, only they usually have more than one item sold in a day. I've bought a couple of the mystery boxes, and they've all been "worth" more than I paid, however, many of them had stuff I would not have bought on their own. Then again, my one Bag of Crap from woot was literally that, crap--a dull pair of kids scissors, a case of 2 year old instant coffee single serve packets (that apparently require a special machine to brew), and a sleeveless 78" record single of two classical pieces. It did come with the flying monkey, so that at least was worth it.
Anyway, for < 4 bucks, you really can't lose with this one.

Also, this is kind of a dumb question, but is this a woot.com type place?
According to the description, each item will contain the same item so there is no point in getting addtional quantities (at least that's what they suggested).

I doubt the $3.77 included next day shipping.

I would expect I'm going to receive anything until later this week, but I will post here when I do.

*UPDATE* I received an e-mail telling me that mine shipped out via the USPS, but I have no idea where it shipped from.

I got 2 shipping confirmations this morning with seperate tracking numbers... I only ordered 1 mystery bag. No details on the shipping info yet. Hopefully it will be updated tomorrow when the USPS actually picks up the items.

Hmm, me too. I didn't even notice the separate numbers until you mentioned it, I thought it was just some redundancy built into their system.

just got the following email

This Saturday (March, 15th) ThingFling welcomes you to the matrix of the kingdom, a whole new world, an entirely different league.

People love to make a kill on a great deal, nothing to conceal!

As I heard from a wannabe band:

...Sunday Flinging Sunday...

Just something out of the ordinary.

This Sunday you can play with Mystery…. Come and check us out!

Remember to check your account, you may have unused coupons that would make this an even sweeter deal! If that`s your case, make sure you apply the coupon code upon checkout, when you are still placing your order.

I got 1 package, it had 3 sets of 2 LED key covers. You put it on the head of your key and it has a built in LED to see your locks. Not spectacular, but definately worth more than $3.77... it even had an insert that stated the cheapest price for 1 set that they could find online was $5.77 or something like that.

Since I got 2 shipping confirmations, I'm hoping that the other package gets here tomorrow... and I got the email about Saturday and Sunday as well... I wonder what it could be! Hmmm.

I got three of those key lights, plus a bunch of other stuff (I ordered 5 packages, since it was still really cheap and I wasn't sure how this all worked).

Other stuff:
Cross Vice pen (Weird pen that folds in half. And it's neon green. But it writes nice.)
3-foot retractable network cable (handy, since I travel a lot)
Monster Cable car power adapter for something, but I have no idea what (no model number, nuthin'!)
Maxell iPod-to-FM transmitter (good gift, I don't own an iPod)

Nothing amazing, but probably worth a lot more than the $15 I paid. I'd do it again.

I figured out that I probably got 2 shipping confirmations because they had to re-label it. So unfortunately I won't be getting 2 items. I did however use a $5 off coupon to order some headphones today.

Some believe it to be some kind of universal remote (maybe a model 9600, based on some hints thrown out)

I'm in for one of the $29.99 Mystery Boxes. It would be cool if it was a really good Universal Remote. We'll see. I've decided to stop checking the site though, as well as the other daily deal sites. I want to spend way too much these days. I'm on a budget and this stuff tempts me way too much - especially the Mystery Box stuff.

I got three sets of those key lights, pretty much worthless Dollar Store crap as far as I'm concerned. I wish I had passed on this deal.

based on the hints, its got to be a universal remote. but it also mentions other items in the box too so let's hope for more good stuff.
