Free McDonald's McSkillet burrito w/ drink purchase (Feb. 28 & 29)

http://www.mcdonalds.com/usa/eat/fea...t_burrito.html

Free McSkillet burrito with purchase of a medium or large drink on Feb. 28 and 29. Offer valid only during breakfast hours and for sausage burritos only.

I've never had one of these, but there's a McDonald's on the way to work. I'll likely stop by if they aren't swamped.

Some locations are also adding a 10% off coupon for your next angioplasty.

My e-mail said "at participating". How do you know which those are?

Eh. If it was a steak one, I'd be all over it.

These are quite healthy. Lots of veggies and hot sauce. Well, yeah, the cheese and sausage kind of kill it but you could just have a diet coke and it would even everything out.

Do you print the screen out and take it there? The McDonalds I go to always get confused by printed coupons, I doubt they would take a print-out. Maybe if there is a sign I will get one.

There were signs outside and inside regarding the promotion and it was no hassle getting mine this morning. This is my first time trying their premium roast coffee, too. Not bad.

Got mine this morning and it wasn't horrible. $1.40 with a medium coffee (in Manhattan, NYC).

Thanks, OP.

I stumbled across this by accident this morning since I needed a coffee and wasn't in the vicinity of a Caribou, Panera, etc. There were signs along the drive-thru lane. I planned to take advantage of the deal tomorrow as well...until I took a bite. It's amazing that they can get the coffee so hot and the burrito so cold. The potatoes were barely defrosted/cooked.

I've had a mixed bag with them. First one I had was the size of their teeny dollar menu breakfast burrito. Another was overloaded, but the potatoes were raw. Today's was just right - plus I just asked for a "McSkillet" and the cashier said sausage or steak... and I said STEAK, baby!

good deal...

I ordered a large coffee to get mine... and two combo meals with OJs for my coworkers...
and they gave me THREE burritos!

Tasted pretty good. I like the Jack-In-The-Box steak breakfast burrito better, though.

Normally I would be all over this.. but I can't bring myself to eat McDonald's for breakfast ever since I found something that resembled a wad of hair in my pancakes.

Loved mine today. Would do it tomorrow but got the old no meat on Friday in Lent to observe. Darn.

Not bad. I got the sausage one. No one told me there was a choice, but I'm glad it was sausage. It wasn't bad. Good size.. not worth $2.59 imo. At 1.99, I'd buy it again.
