Does anyone have any problems with their suction not staying in place? Any solutions?

Don't know how much that thing weighs, but my garmin is very small [nuvi 370] and the suction stays out quite well after running it in tap water before putting it on.

I have a Nuvi 360 and mine stays with no problems. I never had to please it to stay on my windshield either, just cleaned the windshield completely before.

I usually just spit on my hand, then rub it on the cup before i put it on the windshield. I wouldnt leave the mount on your windshield in the sun during the summer. Mine was welded to the windshield one day, and I was barely able to get it unstuck
