They've just come back in stock as of 2:40 CST (15 minutes ago). No telling how long they'll be available.

Good hunting

Gone as of 3:20 CST. That was a 40 minute window. Hope someone (besides me) got one.

They were back in stock at TRU at 4:40pm CST, but gone again in 10 minutes. That's better than Amazon, who saw their inventory sell out in less than 2 minutes both times they had stock last week.

Yes, it is. But they're hard to come by. You can get one on eBay for about $100 over list price, or wait for them to come in stock at an online store. They're not RARE, but they're difficult to find unless you're patient and either keep checking different sites OR use an online search tool like the WiiFinder.

Check your local Warmart and Target as I saw a bunch of them last week. These things are not hard to find...i'm in shocked to here people are still having trouble getting them. Several of my friends bought one last week by walking to their Warmart and Target.

Shouldn't they own automobiles if they're buying a 250$ toy?

I noticed the same thing. Two of the local Wally Worlds had Wiis on the shelf, several of them.

It's stlil highly regional. I seem to head to a Target or Walmart at least once a week on other errands and always walk by the electronics department and still have never seen one here in Austin, or in Dallas. They were in every store that sold videogames when we were up in Canada though.
