Probably too late to remind many of you, but as was the case with the last double points promotion, you could enter in 10 codes before 12:00 p.m. and then enter another 10 codes after noon (but before 11:59 p.m.) and actually receive double points for 20 of 'em. It worked last time and I'm pretty certain it would again.

So can someone advise me on the best "rewards" they have? All I've gotten so far was some 10-in-1 mini travel board games thing. Seems like all the rewards for the past year have just been sold out or sucky. Any advice on what to look out for? I have 700 points to blow.

Not that this will cause any of us to leap for joy (at least until we see evidence of these additional great offers), but this was in my e-mail box today:
We're so sorry if you experienced any issues with Double Points Day on June 25th. To make it up to you, we are planning additional great offers in the weeks and months to come. Keep enjoying your favorite participating My Coke Rewards brands so you can get more rewards and prizes.
Our sincerest apologies,
My Coke Rewards Team

Movie Rentals:
48 points = Rent one movie get one free (value = $3.99, or 12 points per dollar)
84 points = One free movie rental plus one free 20oz Coke (value = $5.68*, or 15 points per dollar) limit 10 awards per account lifetime
Game Rentals:
76 points = Rent one game get one free
114 points = One free game rental
(I don't know what game rental prices typically are)
* = Assuming $1.69 retail price for a 20oz Coke. I get 6-packs of 24oz Cokes from the next door Kroger for $2.50 on sale ($0.42 ea), or $4.39 regularly ($0.73 ea). Unless you typically buy your soft drinks at BlockBuster, this coupon is worth less than $5.68, and the # of points spent per dollar of reward earned is comparably higher).

These redemption values have gotten absurd!
23 Cokes for 1 B1G1 Rental! WTF!

I recently cashed in 84 points x4 for 4 "free movie and free Coke" coupons. I guess I can do 6 more before I hit the lifetime cap. Funny thing, I rented "21" over the weekend, and since I got it back to them before 6 pm the next day, they credited my account $1. I actually made money on the coupon (of course, not counting the 26 3-point caps I had to enter to get 84 points in the first place).

Double up on points with VAULT
Enter codes from a 12-pack of your favorite VAULT flavor on Veteran's Day, 11/11/08, and the points will help you "GET IT DONE. AND THEN SOME." with twice the value.
Kinda lame, but in figured I'd post it anyway.

Also, for those that eat at McDonald's, every Monopoly piece from their current game promotion has a code on it. Go the site listed on the game piece (and after you're registered), enter the code and you're taken around a game board. Each time you land on Community Chest, you get a code worth 25 Coke Reward points. I've hit it 3 times in the last week. Of course it helps that folks pay no attention to that online game and once their they get a "worthless" piece, they pass 'em along to me.
Now if I could just find a reward these days worth saving up for...

I didn't! I found out the hard way after I won 50 points from McDonalds and couldn't redeem them. I sent them an email asking how, besides adding points, can you keep your account active, and so far haven't gotten a response.

^ Ouch! I forget what the time frame is...90 days? I don't think there is another way to keep your account active but to enter points once in a while. Good luck getting the points back...if not, hope you didn't lose too many.

Double Points on Veteran's Day
Enter codes from and VAULT 12-pack on November 11, 2008 and get double points.
Kinda lame: one day, one flavor, one package size, but it is what it is.
Note: You can show your support by donating your points to the USO. Every 400 points is a $20 donation to the USO. Of course, since Coke is making the actual donation (and not you), they're the ones who get the tax deduction. If you don't itemize, no big deal, but those of us who do might prefer to make the donation directly to them (which my family does).
