I ordered the free 12-pack a week or two ago, and it let me get another one today, so that was good. I don't see any of the other ones you talk about....

You have to click on the "See Santa's Wishes" located in the red box beside Santa on the main page of Beta. Then scroll down and look for the logos for each company. Do what each one asks(each is a little something different) and you should see a box pop up the says "Success".

Santa's Wishes awards are finally alive. Be forewarned, it is an uber pain in the ass to unlock and claim.

Helpful hints...

Home Depot unlock - post a random pic of anything
Wal-Mart - post a random pic and a random video link from Youtube
McDonald's - post any random pic
TJ Maxx & USO - I assume it is the same as above, but I have not tried either of those

It may take a little while for the unlock to show up in your notifications area. I have actually had to delete my tweets and retweet again to get it to work. Make sure you delete any tweets before redoing these as Twitter may ban you for spamming the site.

Trying to claim an award may kick you to the main site. If it does, just hit the back button and try again.

How do you tweet a video link? I'm new to twitter. Thanks for any info.

Click on the "Tweet" button on the reward you are trying to unlock. Then I just went to youtube, found a random video, hit the share button and copied the link. Then I pasted it into the tweet box. Doesn't matter what video you use, just make sure you insert a pic with it.

Make sure your twitter account is linked to your Beta account beforehand. You can do that by going to the upper right hand corner of the page where it shows your screen name. Click on it and then "Full Profile". Look on the left hand side of the page underneath where it shows your name and screen name to where it says "Edit Settings"(if you can't see it, it's a greyed out area). Click on it and add your Twitter account on the next page.

Where do I find these rewards once I unlock them? I got notifications that my tweets were accepted for them but I don't see them in the rewards listing.

It may say "Success" after you have done the tweets, but in order to confirm that it truly unlocked the reward is to look in the upper right hand corner of the page where it shows your username. The box beside it should show how many notifications you have. Even if it shows a 0, click on it anyway just to be sure.

You should have a notification for each award that was unlocked. If you have no notifications you have to redo the tweets. Click on the notifications box and a message should pop out below for each. Click on any of them and it should show all the rewards that are currently unlocked. If it is not showing any of the rewards that you were trying to unlock, redo the tweets for that particular reward. Hope that helps.

Thanks so much! Last year I missed getting any of these gc's, and this year, when I had enough points for 2 gc's, then it looked like I wouldn't have any. I'm still not at all happy about the preference given to Beta members, but this certainly takes the edge off.

From what someone posted over at SD, Beta will be the new MCR site starting sometime next year.

I hope they release some of the other giftcards and have an unlimited 12 pack coupon day like they did last year. I'd like to cash out all my points and be done with it for a while. I am not liking the thought of having to do all this social media BS to claim rewards.

Redeemed it last night. I had to enter 9 more 12-pack codes to reach 625. I missed entering them during the recent double points unfortunately, but I didn't want to let the BB card pass. I am pretty wiped out now. Until next year...
