Re: COKE REWARDS! need just 2 codes!

Thanks for the info on the caps. I was disappointed enough that I never received the 6 free 12 pack coupons from December that I was just stockpiling caps and not entering them.
I finally emailed them last week and they at least refunded the points back to my account (would rather had the coupons but it's something I guess). Guess I'll jump back in and enter all these caps next week. :)

Thanks for the heads up. I have not been keeping up with MCR for the past month or so.

Its not linked - I entered three codes for the basketball and I didn't get the points added to my MCR total. (Said I haven't entered any points since January 25 and I entered the codes for the basketball just a couple of weeks ago.) For some reason I didn't throw away the caps and when I entered them on the MCR site, I got three points worth for each cap. (Sigh, should have waited and entered them next week and got them doubled! 9 points wasted - Oh well!)

Bump to remind everyone that the double points on caps promotion is active. Now thru 3/13.

Anybody else get screwed on bonus points yet?

I entered 20 caps and only got bonus points for 18 of them. At least they have that log that shows points with the caps and I can email them about it. (Tons of lag with the points; I'm assuming the site is getting crushed today.)

I had no issues receiving the points, but it was a slow process as you mentioned.

I'll try early in the morning. Usually enter codes through the MCR Android App but they are redoing it or something and its down. I have a ton of caps to enter.

Is entering codes thru text fixed yet?

It was slow to respond, but I did get the 25 cap max put in, all with the bonus points attached.

I entered 12 caps this morning with no problems and it was fast. I enter the last 13 this afternoon and it was super slow, still no problems with the right credits tho.

I haven't tried yet today, but all day yesterday I couldn't even get logged in.

Totally forgot about this! Glad I checked this thread today... I only have 3 caps to enter right now (at work). Hopefully I'll remember to do the rest once I get home...

And yes, it is still slow...

This was the first that I'd signed in this year, so I had to "join" and give a username, but they sent me the confirmation e-mail and my previous points were there so all's well that ends well. And the site seemed to accept the codes smoothly enough at the moment.

I maxed out 25 Minute Maid Lemonade black caps (wish I could have entered more) and am thankful to get bonus points for them considering that ime the Minute Maid products rarely ever seem to be eligible for bonuses.

While entering the 25 codes that worked I also entered 3 other MM codes (never before redeemed) that came with the "sorry, unexpected error" message, which I've never understood and always dread, but as a percentage I guess isn't too bad. Happy enough to have 150 more points.

Got an email from MCR that there was a glitch with all the site traffic and some bonus points were not given, but that they recorded such instances and added the remaining 6 bonus points to my account. I checked and they did, so I got all of my bonus points as well.

Still bummed about the almost 40% drop in points allowed to be entered every week, but still nice to have the 75 bonus points.

I finally got around to visiting the new MCR and oh boy, what a fustercluck. A few months ago I was ready to set up some dummy social media accounts so I could get to the level where Entertainment Weekly subscriptions are available. My sub expired in December, but they're still sending me the magazine. :) When they finally give up I'll try it, but man what a pain.

And for those wanting cheap Coke to get more codes and have Target's Cartwheel app, 8 packs are 50% off for the next 2 days:

Re: COKE REWARDS! need just 2 codes!

Just a reminder if you have any of those 12-Pack Coupons left - they expired this Tuesday, March 31.

Cashed my last four of sixteen that my Dad and I had over the weekend via a buy two - get two free that a local Supermarket had. Since they raise the price of the individual 12-Pack up when they do those deals, I had to pay a little extra. Cost of each 12-Pack was $6.49 so I had to pay $1.51 each for the ones I didn't get free as I got the full worth of each coupon - $4.99. (And it comes to about 75 cents apiece if you want to add the other four 12-Packs in.) Not free but close enough.

As been the case the last few years, I been finishing up the coupons at the last minute. (Worst was two years ago when I cashed in six coupons at a 7-11 store just minutes before they closed on expiration night.) Was tough using them this time around as I'm someone who likes to get the most value on each coupon and the stores that I go to had sales where the 12-Pack came to less than $3.00 and I didn't want to "waste" my coupon. I'm a $4.00 or more kind of guy. That of course led to me paying extra this weekend. What really suck during this was the store I shop at all the time - Wegmans - prices their 12-Packs at $4.99 each when they are not on sale - which would have been perfect if they allow you to use "Free" coupons.

Now MyCokeRewards needs to have a double-point day on 12-Packs so I can enter the thirty plus codes that I have!

Re: COKE REWARDS! need just 2 codes!

I thought of this an hour ago, and came in here to post the same thing! I only have one coupon left, but I'll definitely try to use it today, so I don't forget tomorrow...

Re: COKE REWARDS! need just 2 codes!

I had four left so I went to Target today and used them there since they allow overage. They have Coke 12 packs on sale for 4/$11 around here this week. I bought four and used four coupons and the cashier gave me max value for each($4.99). She offered me one of the coupons back since I am guessing she knew the value of the coupons had exceeded the cost of the items. I told her to go ahead and use it. So my $40 total(includes everything else I bought) dropped to $20 after using the 4 coupons.

Damn, didn't know Target allowed overage.
Was there a few weeks ago and even thought of buying some 12-Packs and using some of my coupons.
But the price was 4 for $12 so I passed since I was only getting $3.00 on each coupon.
I think the total purchase with the four 12-Packs included would have been around $30 so yeah the $20 savings would have been nice - sigh.
I will have to keep this in mind next time we have these coupons.

I have took advantage of their 3/$10 sales with these coupons in the past. I would buy 3 and hand over 2 coupons. A majority of the time I can get the full value of the coupon and get (3) 12 packs for .02 cents using only 2 coupons. If for some reason I get a cashier that only gives me sale price value($3.33 or whatever the price may be), I will hand over another coupon to cover the extra 12 pack. But I only do so afterwards. Yesterday was an exception as I was a) trying to get rid of the coupons since I knew they expired on 3/31 and b) hoping to get a fairly sized amount of overage to cut the overall cost of my total. I could have easily did two 4/$11 transactions and paid just over $2 for the (8) 12 packs but I don't want all those sodas. Plus I like getting paid to take these off their hands. :D

As with all things retail it depends on the cashier, but some will either go by the price showing up on the computer(either sale or regular price) or will just hit a button on the register that automatically takes off the full value. Target is the only one I know that still does this. Other stores usually just gives you the value of what was paid.

Re: COKE REWARDS! need just 2 codes!

Wow, thanks for the coupon reminder and Target overage tip guys! Found and used them just in time.

4 packs on sale for $12, plus a $15 bluray set (Arrow season 2), minus $20 for the 4 coke coupons = $7 out the door

Re: COKE REWARDS! need just 2 codes!

Used my last $4.99 coupon plus a $4 coupon from their Superbowl promotion, combined with the Target 4/11 deal and RedCard discount... Four 12-packs for under 2 bucks!

If anyone forgot to use their coupons today, Target usually will allow an expired coupon the next day, since they can still redeem them in time. Their system won't allow Target coupons after expiration, but manuf. coupons will work. YMMV of course, depending on the cashier...

Re: COKE REWARDS! need just 2 codes!

Used my last 4 coupons at Wal-mart on Saturday.

No lower price found by their Savings Catcher so I got no $$$ back. I had previously been getting about $1.50 on previous redemptions I had done from January on. :(

Glad none of them went to waste. Just had 16.

Don't know if everyone is still using MCR since things went downhill, but I logged in just now and noticed they're giving double points on Coke Zero caps from 4/21-5/21.

Well this is nuts. I entered a few into 1 account and got the double points credit. Went to my other account--the double points promo banner isn't there. Entered a code and did not get double credit.

Has that ever happened before? Seems like an account specific promotion
