Thanks for the info. Reading the "how it works" part on the site made it seem like social media was integral to membership. I'll probably have to do the dummy Twitter/FB thing since my EW subscription runs out in December, which is rapidly approaching.

I was wondering the same thing yesterday. I went back and found my confirmation email and it said 4-6 months. Wondering if I should contact them and how exactly I would go about doing that.

Someone on the SD MCR thread posted a couple of days ago that they had contacted them and were told that the Nike giftcards were e-giftcards and would be emailed out on Oct. 31. I think they pulled the same stunt on people last year with the Best Buy giftcards.

Also of note, there is supposed to be double points on Fanta products sometime next week. While I don't think there has been a definitive answer, most are speculating that it will be on 12 flaps only.

Fanta 12 pack flaps and green caps(Sprite, Fanta, etc) are all doubling as of today.

FYI, for those that don't know, double points are valid through Halloween...at least the Fantasy 12 packs are.

The Walmart Meal Deal (where you get 10 point bonus for each code you enter) is still around so enter a meal code before you put in your green caps.

Is this the top level prize we got from the EMM promotion when UConn won the NCAA Championship?

My e-mail notice back when I redeemed in April -- luckily I saw it on the very last possible day, seem to indicate I'd be getting a $50 Best Buy GC.

??? :shrug:

Edit: Nevermind. I see it says $50 Gift Card code. Not sure how I assumed it was a Best Buy GC. I wasn't really paying attention and I redeemed the winning code just in time, 4/30.

I've got NO interest or desire for a Nike code.

There were no Best Buy gift cards offered this year, that was the previous year. This year the prize was advertised as a $50 "Sporting Goods Gift Card", but it was not officially stated what company was issuing the card. I'm not sure where exactly the name "Nike" came along, but I'm guessing it was stated in some capacity on the MCR message boards.

Some on the SD MCR thread said that it showed up as being a Nike giftcard on the Coke Zero March Madness site after the game had ended. I never checked(or at least don't recall checking) as I just assumed they were correct since Coke offers Nike giftcards throughout the year.

I have no real interest in a Nike giftcard either. But should it come tomorrow as someone has stated over there on SD, I may hold onto it since we're heading down to Orlando next weekend. We've found some pretty good deals at the some of the sporting goods stores(Reebok, Addidas, Converse) the past couple of years. Maybe this year it will be Nike. There are some sites that buys and sells giftcards that I will probably use if I do not use it in while Florida.

Ran into a problem I've never had before.

Entered all my green caps a few days ago without any problems. Bought a couple of Fanta drinks a few days ago and entered the caps just now. They both came up as other drinks (had me choose diet coke, coke zero, etc).

Not sure it's worth the effort to complain since I didn't get the 6 bonus points total, but it was odd.

That was close! I got in just in time -- for my own account.

Created an account for my sis who has always provided me with caps over the past couple of years.

Lost out on this for her account but got the 200 MCR points (Southwest Airlines).

Off to a good start. Now waiting for the 12 Days next month.

Be on the lookout for it again tomorrow. Someone over at SD said that MCR commented on their facebook page that it was accidently released a day early and to look for it tomorrow.
