Ever heard of friends and family and co-workers? I've accumulated several thousand points without buying any coke products myself.

Pretty much everyone that drinks coke gives him their caps. He always has enough for the max per day amount. That I know of, he has gotten a couple of nice golf clubs and a Nintendo Wii.
It's only a scam if you are drinking the coke just to get the rewards.

He would need to get 320 12 packs in order to get a Nintendo DS. I had quite a few points and when I tried to order a game back when they actually had good prizes, I got a message saying that they were out and they removed the item from MyRewards.

It was also supposed to end this summer, but they extended it. Who knows if it will be extended again

Maybe it didn't work out for you, but it has for some.

And I'll echo the thoughts of the previous posters. The Coke Rewards has been very beneficial for me and I haven't changed my cola drinking habits in any way....just collected the points others have given me and I've gotten hundreds of dollars in merchandise.
