Anybody able to get this one? I tried a few industry/job titles but it's not offering this one.Which is rare for me. I can usually get these in 1 or 2 attempts.

My wife joined the Club Mom thing but the link must be no good as it states nothing about the Fitness subscription nor can we find it on the site. Suggestions?

This is probably a ridiculous question, but is there any way to get a subscription to Variety for free without being in the industry? It's $300 a year, and that's discounted from the newsstand price. I currently just steal my neighbor's copy (since they get two), but was hoping I can just get one legitimately.

Just sign up for em, and you get free magazines. No strings attached, I'm living proof.

Same here. I was a bit skeptical at first but am a believer now.

You may want to check with any Frequent Flyer miles you have and see if they offer magazines in trade for the miles. A lot of them do -- and I got Daily Variety this way.

Amazon sells that sub for only $150! heh, I said only. That's a ton of money for a magazine.

Heh. Funny enough, I got home yesterday and found one of those periodic offers I get from Delta and United (Delta in this case, but I think all the airlines use them) offering me the opportunity to trade frequent flier miles for magazines. Both Variety and Daily Variety were listed at 5000 miles a pop (can't remember the subscription length). If you've got miles that you're not planning on using, that might be an option.

"IMPORTANT:
Your credit card will show charges (if applicable) from KMJ Communications which is our parent company."

This would not be applicable to someone who used a free subscription code.

Cool. Thanks. We leave in 24 days for a Carnival cruise (our first one), but we'll probably do another one next year. This will be good to have.

Whoa, Daily Variety? I was only aware of the one my neighbor gets, which comes every Sunday. Daily sounds insane...

Variety's web page doesn't really do much to distinguish between them (other than frequency).
