Pricematching with CC or BB?

There is a PC game - Guild Wars Nightfalls which is listed as $29.99 if you order online at EBGames.com, but the EB stores sell them for 49.99.

Would I be able to get CircuitCity or BestBuy to pricematch this if I print out the website price and bring the printout to them?

(I could order it online, but would like to avoid the shipping costs)

Did you call or go to your local EBGames, and ask if they will price match their website? I look at the price drops every week on their website, and go in and will go in and get the games for the same price.

It is hard to say. BB won't even match their website prices.

Brick and Mortar stores generally do not match internet prices. Having said that I never try to price match at "Best Buy" any longer as they are not interested in that type of business.

Yes I tried this. They told me prices online do not apply to their stores since they have specials deals which you can only buy online.
I found it strange that that they would have a different price between their B%M and online store.

I price match all the time at Best Buy. I've always done it via printed ad. I doubt that they will match any online prices. They may or may not even call a local store to make sure they have it in stock so that you could go there and actually buy it.

I would still give it a try at the Customer Service desk.

On a B1G1 sale (a few months back) that was listed on their website, I hoped it was in-store too, but did not see any signs. As it turned out, they were backed up with alot in line and were diverting some to the Customer Service desk for checkout.

When I got there I asked the guy that I wanted to see if these 2 sets were B1G1, like on their website, since no store signs were accordingly. He said that if it is that way on the website we will match it here. As it turned out the B1G1 was also in-store, as they rang up that way.

So give it a shot. You will wish you did if you later find out they would've and you didn't. All they can say is no, but what if they say YES!

Just checked the price at ebgames.com, and it went back up to 49.99

I looked at Amazon, but no deal there either.

Sorry
