How "Hot" this deal is may be relative. 
Comparing it to the price it would be walking into a BB, then it's a very sweet deal.

Hit up eBay for a instant email stackable 10% off coupon (which you can get for $3-$4) and that'll bring the total price down to about $510 + tax. Shipping is free.
Yes, the Series 3 is still mighty expensive. But, compared to $800 at BB, it's a good deal. Also, you still need the monthly service on top of that.

Coupons are no longer available on eBay. The unit itself is no longer available on the Dell website via a search.
