Restaurant.com codes.....
<a href="http://www.restaurant.com/index.asp?rpid=1647&raid=999&AID=5674455&PID=1768450" target="_blank">Restaurant.com</a> - 60% off of dining certificates, code: 65639
Restaurant.com has $10 gift certificates for $3, and $25 gift certificates for $10, so with the new code you can get: $10 certificate for $1.20 $25 certificate for $4 Some prices may vary by restaurant, some certificates may require 4 people at your table, and some may have other restrictions on use. Restaurant.com is good at issuing refunds for people who have problems redeeming a certificate. |
Man, that's a damn-good deal. Some nice restaurants in my area. Thanks dude.
|
How does that work? If the conditions say "Minimum purchase of $50/2 entrees", can you use two $25 certificates (bought for $10 each) for a $50 meal? With 60% off that would come to $8.
|
I definitely need elaboration, because this is insanely good.
|
On all the restaurants that I've seen, all has condition of minimum spending. So it really is a promotional deal to get you to go to their restaurant. Still pretty nice deal though.

Each certificate is different, you'll need to read through that restaurant's restrictions. I've used several of these over the past 4 years and have never had a problem. Some of the places ask that you spend a minimum amount of money and then apply the coupon. One place I frequent uses them and asks that the minimum order be at least $40.00 before you apply the $25.00 gift certificate (non-stackable). Another place I use them at just considers it $25.00 cash good towards a bill at any price and let's me combine them. |
When do you get a chance to read if there are more restrictions than the one I posted?
Oh, I see. It's a tab called Dining Certificates. This one doesn't look so good. Valid Sunday-Thursday with a minimum purchase of $50/2 entrees. Limit one (1) dining certificate per redemption. Only one dining certificate can be used per party, even if the party is seated at separate tables and/or receives more than one check. Use of dining certificates for alcoholic beverages is at the sole discretion of the merchant. |
Yeah - sounds like a simple gift certificate, non-stackable. Was there no minimum on it though? You could go eat there and spend $52.00 and drop the $50.00 and get out cheap.....

None in my area. Closest 3 are in New Orleans. Do these restruants change often? Does anyone know?
|
This is a great deal if you have a restaurant you like on the list. Lemme see a $50 meal for 8 bucks equals more cocktails that night, woo-hoo.
|
Thanks OP. For $20 I now have $125 worth of food at a restaurant I like that is in walking distance.

That's the way I figured it. |
Is this a one time use code - ie in the sense that I can use it once and that's it (so I better order all the stuff I want in bulk) or can I try a few places and then order some more w/ the code?
|
Any deals on burritos? :D
|
Bought some of these yesterday and tried it out last night. The waitress looked at it funny but there were no problems with them accepting it. Time to stock up!

I've used these for years to try various restaurants (and go back to some that became favorites). I've looked into the site from the restaurant's point of view, and they get NO compensation for the certificates, it's basically "free" advertising for them. That's why there are so many caveats to many of the certificates. I'm shocked that one restaurant was willing to stack them. |
great find...i will be using this. thank you.

For those that are planning to stock up, keep in mind that ALL their certificates limit one use per month per restaurant. Also, you can only use one at a time.
Each resturant can also impose their own restrictions, such as Sun-Thu only, minimum 4 people, or minimum consumption (food only, exlcudes beverages). The minimum party requirement is the worst, because using a $25 cert only nets you $5.25 per person if you HAVE to bring four people. There is also a slight chance that the restaurant may reject the certificate. It happened to me once when I waited nearly six months before trying to redeem the gift certificate. If this ever happens, you can go back to Restaurant.com and get a mega certificate which will allow you to pick an equivalent certificate at another network restaurant. |
seems to good to be true.
example $25 cert for $10 coupon code makes it $4. so i get a $25 for $4 and have to spend $35. so i spend $14 on a $35 meal?? |
did the code expire.
i was adding restaurants and then went to checkout and the code said expired\ it was showing the discounted price then it went to no discount. also i left the site and lost my entire cart. |
used one last night at a nice denver area restaurant. deal was $25 off with purchase of two entrees. our meal total (two entrees and soup) was $38, +tax, +tip = $48 meal. subtract the certificate and add the cost of the certificate, the meal was about $27. nice price.
thanks OP |
