Hi.

A while ago there was promotion from enviroshieldtechnology (page 11) where you could get Giant magazine. I subscribed to it, and now I started getting Maxim. Since that's the only subscription I've tried, I assume there was some kind of error.

Has this happened to anyone else?
Has anyone received Giant magazine from that promotion?
Does anyone know if the promotion still works?

I know its kind of off topic, but for those of you who subscribe to other magazines other than the free ones (for me its Motor Trend) you should check out Ebay for subscription renewals. I was paying around $10/year from the typical on-line mag stores. But on E-bay I got 4 years of Motor Trend for $11 !

Sorry if this is common knowledge already, but I'm sure there's a few people who could benefit from this post. Have fun (and keep those Free Mag links coming)!

As a general WARNING, I ordered mag subs off Ebay TWICE

and got beat for my money BOTH times, PayPal, Ebay, and the Mag Company didn't want to know anything!

I was told by the mag company "We do not honor subscriptions purchased through Ebay"

I have ordered twice on ebay as well but I got my subscriptions both times. I would recommend sticking with only people that have high feedback and sell mainly magazine subscriptions.

The magazine company would not know anything about your subscription if the ebay user never submitted it to them. They never sell direct through ebay.

Thanks for that info. Despite the fact that I have Stuff and FHM until 2009 & 2010, for some reason my Maxim expired this month. I already signed up for a different Maxim offer so I figure I gotta get one of these.

hmm, my Maxim went from saying that it was expiring somewhere in the 201x area to now expiring in 2006. I think transferring my work subscription to my house may have done it. Think I will give it a month to iron itself out before emailing them.

Today I got three FHM mags from the same month. Two addressed to me and one to Mrs. Pusser.

All three expire in 2006, but different months. I need to combine these.
