WHAT:
To celebrate its 10th birthday and show its appreciation for the consumers who have made Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO) a household name, the company is inviting U.S. consumers to enjoy a free 2.5 oz. scoop of Baskin-Robbins ice cream courtesy of Yahoo! on March 2. Visit http://www.yahoo.com and get a coupon for a free scoop of Baskin-Robbins ice cream and join the celebration.
On Wednesday, March 2nd, consumers can visit the Yahoo! front page (www.yahoo.com) and download a coupon good for a free 2.5 oz. scoop (cup or cone) of their favorite ice cream at Baskin-Robbins. The coupons will be customized with the consumer’s name, and the site will feature driving directions and a Yahoo! Smartview map listing all Baskin-Robbins locations in the user-specified geographic area. As part of the birthday celebration, the coupon must be printed and redeemed on March 2nd. (Maps not available in Puerto Rico.)
WHY:
Yahoo!, like many Internet startups, began humbly as a simple idea and within the past decade became the world’s most recognized Internet brand, with more than 345 million unique users worldwide. Yahoo! would like to recognize those who have contributed to their success by sharing a scoop of Baskin-Robbins ice cream with U.S. consumers.
WHO:
Everyone in the United States is invited to help celebrate Yahoo!’s 10th Birthday!

That sucked ass. I showed up with my coupon to find each store was only giving out 300 scoops and mine was past it's limit. Thanks for nothing for me going out of my way, Yahoo.

Yeah, I clicked on that part of Yahoo that supposedly showed maps of all the Baskin-Robbins stores in the area...and when I visited the only convenient location to me...all I found there was a freaking nail salon!
