Check out the Finance Forum at FatWallet.com. They'll have what you're looking for.

Have not seen any for a while.

There's a fifty dollar link somewhere around the internet. I don't know if it's still working, but that's what I used back in December to sign up.

Or you can get the $25 referral bonus, when someone sends you a link. If I were you, I'd look for the $50 one. If that doesn't work out and you want a referral, I could help you out.

don't turn this into a referral request/etc thread. they'll be deleted

I just did some checking b/c i was suppose to find the $50 link for my parents a month ago. it seems that the normal link is dead, but if you own Microsoft Money or have access to a legit serial number, you can sign up at http://www.INGDirect.com/money04/. that'll get you your fifty dollars.

also, they just bumped up the APY to 2.6%.

My copies of TaxCut Deluxe 2004 and Microsoft Money 2005 both came with a $50 signup link/form.

I haven't acted on this myself, but you may want to look into Emigrant Direct, paying 3.0% APY. Similar to ING. There is a thread about it at fatwallet too.

MOD NOTE: referral post removed. -namja

ING bumped the APY to 2.8% today

Emigrant Direct is at 3.25%

Probably in anticipation of the Fed meeting this afternoon, expected to raise interest rates again. Emigrant has been at the 3.25% rate for a while now, so perhaps they'll do another bump shortly.

Yup - Capital One is in the mix as well - APY of 3.05%.

The website for ING still says 2.6 today.

It says 2.80% for me. That's strange.

It says 2.8 for me today as well. That is wierd. I hope my Netbank Money Market will follow.

I have a personal loan from them and have good experince thus far.

I have a Cap1 acct. No problems, but I wouldn't expect any as this is not typically the type of account that you would use for daily banking. With most of these banks, you get 1 statement every quarter or every year, and that's about it. You just park your money there and move it around as you wish online.

wheil 03-25-05 05:49 PM

here is one for $25.00 http://www.ingdirect.com/dvr/

I believe that there are some $50 or more sign up bonuses available. Do as was suggested before, and check the FatWallet Finance forum. You can also find there a $101 sign up bonus for PNC online banking, as well as $100 for Bank of America.

xboxundone 03-26-05 09:16 AM

I haven't seen one for 50 in a while
