Are those before or after rebates?

I don't buy things with rebates.

Can you actually do two rebates for this? I see two listed, but how do you do, don't you have to provide the original upc etc.

One of the rebates allows for a copy of the UPC.

Staples had a 200 gig Maxtor for $59 last weekend, I don't know if the deal is done. It was $89 instore with an online $30 rebate that took me about 30 seconds to fill out, no snailmail required.

Yeah - I snagged one of those. I think it ends (ended) today.

Starting tomorrow there's a 160GB Hitachi with 8MB cache and 3 year warranty (SKU 314482) for $60 after rebates and a package deal for an external USB 2.0 enclosure (SKU 318178) to be free after rebates when bought with the drive.

X, the Hitachi Deskstar drive that I saw with SKU 314482 has a 2MB cache and a 1 year warranty. Plus, I admit to being a worrywart after the original IBM Deskstar debacle. That said, it still seems like a good deal.

These are entirely different drives than the old Deathstar.

CompUSA may have made a mistake on the cache size. It could really be 8MB on that particular model.

I would take a look at the box since Hitachi says they have both cache sizes on that model.

I doubt the cache size would matter if you used it in the enclosure though.
