is it just me or have these clubs been dead as of late?

missmhyk 04-22-04 11:52 AM

Help! I need a B1G3 code for BMG.

"Nashville Star" has made me like Willie Nelson again!

Hollowgen 04-22-04 02:24 PM

none as of right now...

pharmjod 04-24-04 11:16 AM

has anyone done the data miner thing with the columbiahouse cd club? i have tried looking through the forums and am probably just missing it, but i was wondering if its out there. i'd like to join the cd club, but it'd be nice to have a complete list of whats available for enrollment. thanks!

what you need to do is figure out the way to access the full site, rather than the "red" one they give to newbies.

Okay, color me confused. In an earlier post someone said as a member they could only find one David Bowie CD... just the same as a newbie. If you are correct about there being more offered to members then I'd love to see what those titles are. I was looking forward to joining CH with the 15 free discs, but I could barely find 5 CD's I wanted. Urgh.

Hollowgen 04-25-04 11:41 AM

CH does only have one bowie album.... BMG has a ton of the latest remasters, however.

gah, can't get the link to post correctly

gah, can't get the link to post correctly, so:

clicky for textfile

The web address says that you have to be logged in to use it... or look at it. Thanks, though. Yeah, I was using Bowie as an example where someone was showing that there is no difference in selection between a member and a guest just signing up. I'm amazed how poor the CH selection is. If I wanted to get an instant Bob Dylan collection I'd be pleased, but they are lagging far behind what BMG has to offer. When CH was CDHQ that wasn't the case.

It has to be at regular price but you can use a B1G3 free code for your fulfillment.

Twocool4u1 05-03-04 04:52 PM

are there any new b1g3 deals then? ;)

potnoodlez 05-03-04 08:55 PM

Nope I haven't gotten any yet.

Silkk_34 05-07-04 11:07 PM

Has anybody had a problem putting their selections in their shopping cart. Most of the time it acts as if I never even selected a cd. Any help?

Columbia House? If so, try using the "shop by selection #" button. This solved the problem for me last time.

Hope that helps!

dayzi 05-14-04 12:49 PM

Columbia House Cd is having an extra 10% off your order sale in addition to the buy 1 get 3, just wondering if these items will still count towards fulfillment?

Yes, the original price cd you get for 10% off will count towards you fulfillment.

love_DVDs 05-19-04 05:32 PM

Just got accepted at Columbia House Music club using one code in the 1st post. In the welcome email, they only give me 9 selections (instead of 15) at $1.14 each (0.99 plus tax maybe???). The selections they took off are the currently albums (like Dangerously in love, In This Skin, LOTR soundtracks) <br>
I am having "Get 5 free when you buy 2 at regular price or get 2 free when you buy 1 at regular price". Would anybody please tell me if its a good deal or I should wait? I have to buy 3 more. <br>
CH doesnt have Britney Spears and Justin Timberlate; they do have N'sync though. BMG does have those.

pOpus 05-22-04 11:17 AM

I recently joined using the WXR code; I got my welcome email yesterday. When I signed on to the website for the first time, it is saying that my membership agreement has been fulfilled. I have yet to actually purchase anything, and my initial enrollment required no payment. It looks like CH is trying to give me 15 free CD's with no shipping or handling, and nothing more to buy.

Is this normal, or did I happen to benefit from some weird fluke?

potnoodlez 05-22-04 02:36 PM

It is normal. The same thing happened to me when I opened a new WXR account.

really?!

is it the truth, or a mistake on their site?

... and have you recieved the 15 free cds?

potnoodlez 05-23-04 12:20 AM

It's just a mistake. It will be fixed in a few days. Yeah, I did receive my free cds. A few were out of stock but they gave me vouchers to choose replacements.
