Like Edge of Tomorrow using “Die. Rinse. Repeat.” It later became part of the title.

Live. Die. Repeat.
It's not Beauty Shop.

That was intentional. It’s Rinse and Repeat. That’s what I call it ever since they came up with that stupid subtitle.

Live Die Repeat was actually the original title. The studio wouldn't let them use it, but they were able to make it prominent on the home video release.

The original title was All You Need is Kill. I thought Live, Die, Repeat was just the subtitle in the marketing.

From Wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edge_o...rrow#Marketing
The film was initially titled All You Need Is Kill after the light novel, but as filming was ending in July 2013, Warner Bros. changed the title to Edge of Tomorrow; Warner Bros. president Sue Kroll said the title was changed partly due to "negative chatter" about the word "kill" in the title. Doug Liman, who said he rejected the title All You Need Is Kill because it "didn't feel like it was the tone of the movie I had made", wanted to rename the film Live Die Repeat, but Warner decided to use that just as the tagline.

Re: Ghostbusters: Ultimate Collection -- 4K UHD -- 2/1/22

I hope I’m not jinxing myself, but I may have just gotten this for free ?

I preordered this on Amazon months ago. The credit card I use for online purchases has a relatively low limit. Not realizing it was very close to being maxed out I got a message from Amazon saying the payment declined and that I needed to update my credit card. It wasn’t a big deal because I had already paid it off the previous day but the payment was still in transit before they tried to charge me. So the very next day my bill was paid off and I followed Amazons link to update my card and just updated it with the exact same card.

Right after I updated the card I checked my online credit card statement and the charge for Amazon was already showing as “pending”. Okay so fast forward to today and I was checking my online statement for something unrelated and noticed that the Amazon charge was gone. Not pending, not
processed. It was gone and my line of credit was showing 108 dollars more that I had available. The exact price I paid for the set after tax. The charge has completely disappeared.

my immediate thought was that they ran out and cancelled my order. But according to my Amazon account it has shipped. Not only that but my tracking has it being delivered tomorrow.

Has this ever happened to anyone? Are they going to charge me again, or did I possibly just get the set for free?

I wouldn't jump the gun on any assumptions. I've had pending charges on my card likewise disappear only to come back a couple days later.

Re: Ghostbusters: Ultimate Collection -- 4K UHD -- 2/1/22

I went through some of the extras on the 2 bonus discs last night. Lots of stuff.

The 2 big retrospective documentaries that had interviews with Aykroyd and Reitman were actually from the 2014 30th anniversary BD release, which I did have previously.

I did really like the video commentary on certain scenes with Jason and Ivan. I wish they would have done it for both 1 and 2 instead of just select scenes.

I'm not sure I'll watch the TV version. It's in 4:3 and edited down for TV. But it is nice to have in this set. I will probably check out the preview cut.

Preview cut is 16:9 but it’s widowboxed. I don’t mind the 4:3 on preview or TV, I’m just happy it’s something as rare as these were included. I love this set. So many good things in it.

Kind of irrelevant since this is not available to pick up anywhere, but curious if this ended up having new scans for either of the first two movies?

Re: Ghostbusters: Ultimate Collection -- 4K UHD -- 2/1/22

Just received my copy of the Canadian Ultimate Collection and have two copies of Ghostbusters 2 in 4K and no Ghostbusters 1 unfortunately. Anyone know if there is any replacement program or anything I can do?

Re: Ghostbusters: Ultimate Collection -- 4K UHD -- 2/1/22

I would just reach out direct to Sony, they are aware of the problem (I got lucky and my set arrived several weeks back with no quality control issues) and since this is basically sold-out everywhere, simply returning it for a new set will not work. I do not know which Sony number to call, but maybe someone in this thread can jump in. There is a reddit thread if you search Ultimate Ghostbusters replacement disc where a post confirms that Sony Customer Service will work with you to send out a replacement disc.
