Whenever it does arrive, I'm willing to sell the digital copy for all 10 seasons for $30. I'll bump this thread when the time comes.

I wonder how well they will clean up the first season. We have the complete series in HD on VUDU and the picture is not much better than SD for Season 1 and the intro is worse than SD. It improves some later in the season or beginning of Season 2 (can't remember).
We are near the end of Season 2 and the picture quality has improved yet still seems more like a soft 720 as opposed to true 1080.
We have been watching an episode here and there for a while. Our plan was to watch 1-5 on VUDU in HD (as good as it could be) and then switch to finishing 6-10 on Blu.
If they remaster the first seasons in HD (better than exists already), hopefully they will also update the masters for the earlier seasons for digital. Including replacing the versions those of us already have.

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered it in October when it was $156 on back order and cancelled and reordered with the price drop. Since the set is not a preorder anymore, Amazon doesn’t adjust prices, so I couldn’t let it sit. Saving me almost $20.

My Smallville set just came in today. Just sold off the digital copy to offset the cost.
Eventually I will probably donate the DVDs that I have. Nice looking set. Normally this would be too rich for me, but Smallville is one of my top 5 favorite shows of all-time.
I'm going to LA Comic Con next week and Welling and Rosenbaum are there. I might try to get them to sign my set.

Went to LA Comic Con on Sunday and got my set all signed up. 
Welling, Rosenbaum and John Glover. Welling and Rosenbaum are super cool. Glover is really old and his assistant had to guide him on where to sign and how to sign it. He was nice though.

Saw that $114.99 on 12/6 and thought crud that's about $18 less than we paid 11/24 at Amazon $133.69 which was a PM to Walmart that arrived 12/3. Yet realized we jumped at it from Amazon as it has been so hard to get and figured worth it to actually get one. Then noticed it is unavailable at BB further confirming that point.
Then today 12/7 it is showing at $119.99 at both Walmart and Amazon (as of this post). Which is why I didn't want to get it from Amazon since they will not PM anything that is already shipped and even sometimes even before shipping.
So back to being happy with the fact we have a set and attempting to ignore the fact within such a short time the price dropped and possibly could have received a price match had we grabbed it from Walmart.

So this is now sold out again at Amazon. I guess the $115 price point brought out some people. I sold off my digital code, so I actually ended up paying about $103 and change.
Anyways, it's a good set. I started watching some of season 1 and I had not seen it since it originally aired. It does look good in HD. Although I can tell that some of the special effects looks dated. And Kristin Kreuk is adorable in season 1.
Hopefully one of these days, I'm be able to get hers, Erica Durance and maybe Laura Vandervoort to also sign my set. I had the chance to meet Vandervoort at LA Comic Con when I got all my signatures, but I spent so much money already, that it would have been just too expensive.

I'd be far more tempted on Smallville if it ever hit below $90. Though given how studios are manufacturing fewer quantities these days, that seems unlikely.

This is $98.99 on Amazon right now. Deal ends in 15 minutes. It's a Lightning deal.
I think this is the lowest price ever. Don't buy it if you don't have time to watch it. It's 10 seasons and 200+ episodes. It's a huge time investment.
