Frozen and Big Hero 6 were released in 3D in other countries. The most recent 3D title right now is Onward.

Well, "Onward" isn't part of the films by Walt Disney Animation Studios, but it is part of the films by Pixar.

For anyone who's interested, there's a petition that involves the Signature Collection, and it's on a site called Change.org (if anyone can find it.)

Hopefully when or after the pandemic is gone, the Signature Collection edition of "The Jungle Book (1967)" should definitely be announced. Besides, even though that movie's on Disney+, it's never been available in stores since 2014, and that's what's definitely gonna be the final entry of the Signature Collection line (unless "Fantasia" 2-Movie Collection is part of that line).

I think it's safe to say there isn't any "line" of releases anymore for Disney. They'll just release whatever they deem can make another dime or two. Of course Fantasia I and II would still likely make some serious bank if/when it does get released.

I watched Fantasia for the first time when I had Disney plus and the movie had a content warning on it but I couldn't figure out what was so wrong with the movie that it needed that label.

Disney is re-releasing both Fantasia's through their movie club this month.

And I find it funny how considering how much money Disney has lost during the pandemic they didn't decide to crank out 4Ks of their animated classics. I know their are pushing Disney+ but I mean I feel like there is money being left on the table for them by not doing 4K either disc or digital for the older titles.

Per Disney:

Disney+ features the studio's massive library that dates back over eight decades, and the verbiage serves as a caution against some racist and culturally insensitive depictions and references in Disney's older offerings.

Yes, but Disney already removed the offensive imagery of servile black sentaurs doting on white sentaurs years ago. Is there still any offensive footage in the existing version of the movie?

I was thinking that myself, -I saw The '90s re-release and I thought that was taken care of back then, -but perceptions constantly shift so maybe they're just being careful. Sort of like those "flashing light" warnings I see if front of just about every action show these days.

Do the dancing mushrooms in "Nutcracker Suite" count as outdated cultural depictions?

Yeah I know it had bits removed but I couldn't figure out what was wrong with the current version of the movie.

So you have to sign up for some BMG record club type deal to get Fantasia?

It’s a Disney Movie Club exclusive, so yes. You need to sign up for it and commit to buying a few at full price.

So I’m guessing this release is more sanitized (scenes removed) than the one released from the last time? I have those and they’re great releases, multiple discs with a lot of extras, etc.

Both Fantasia’s need a great 4K release.

The only way I'll rebuy Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 is if they come out with the 4K release.

I know they probably aren't profitable, but I'd love for Disney to tackle a third Fantasia.

I always thought a Fantasia 3D had a nice gimmicky release name for a third feature

The artwork for that Disney Club release is not that great.

I bet some people will find a way to put it on Ebay and charge $75 for it

If/when the Signature Collection edition of "The Jungle Book (1967)" does get announced, hopefully the King Louie sequence won't get removed.

Is there a list somewhere of all the Blu-rays that are exclusive to the Movie Club?
