Plus there are a shitload of Paramount titles that should be on Blu-ray but aren't including "Pretty Baby" and "Looking for Mr. Goodbar".
"Goodbar" is one I'd love to see, but it's probably about the music rights. I have my issues with some elements of the story (turning it into a "Who's going to do it?"), but the ending, -involving a strobe light (trigger warning), -just stunned me in the theater. Great, pretty much forgotten performance by Diane Keaton.

Re: I Can't Believe It's STILL Not on Blu ray (or 4K)!

I was able to snag the Kino Lorber 3-disc release of Oliver Stone's Nixon. The selling point for me was the inclusion of the theatrical cut of the film.

That said...

Will Warner Brothers release a new edition of Oliver Stone's JFK for the film's 30th anniversary this year? Maybe a 4K restored 2 or 3 disc set that also includes the MUCH SUPERIOR theatrical cut. (Just sending that out to the Universe).

Warner Brothers released a Blu ray set of Natural Born Killers with both cuts years ago. I don't see why this is such a stretch.

Yeah, I was a teenager when I saw this in the theater (we snuck in). And that scene stayed with me for months. It just shook me to the core.

Does that have what this does not have?

I bought it a long time ago

That does *not* have the theatrical cut. The Kino Lorber version that came out two years ago does. (It's a 3-disc set)

Yeah, except that Spanish version there's no true lies and abyss.

Some of Cronenberg's or Coppola's stuff hasn't been printed yet in many countries...

I would like to see a new release to Conversation, Cotton Club etc.

Surprised this hasn't gotten an upgrade to Blu-ray or that it wasn't released on BD when it came out

Except for the fact that Billy Mitchell is a fraud. So I don’t see why we want to support his documentary.

It isn't about him. Is about Steve Weibe and one of the things the doc exposes is how much of a fraud and douchebag Bill Mitchell is. I wonder if his recent lawsuits to Twins Galaxies and Guinness Book of Records is holding back a release on Blu-ray.

I really wish people would mention at least the title of the movie you're talking about in your posts. My company blocks most of the image sharing site embeds on my work computer, so all I see is one blank post after another after another.

Ugh, you're making me look up the thread on my phone, which is annoying because the forum's mobile site sucks.
