What if you bought your Beastmaster from the Black market?

Vinegar Syndrome is aware. You do NOT need to email them.
If your order hasn't shipped yet, it'll include the replacement disc in the parcel.
If you already have yours, they'll ship the disc before the end of the month, but don't expect it to show up by Dec 31.
Repeat... you do NOT need to email them. They're sending replacements to everyone, one way or another.

If you haven't ordered it... do it!
is it still playable after that or always freezes? can you access extras at least, just not be able to watch the movie? and yeah, what if i bought it on Bay and asked seller, but hasn't gotten back to me yet? can i still get a corrected disc?

Yes, it still plays.
why the heck would you buy it second hand? VS has it in stock, and they confirmed on another forum that all copies going out now will have the corrected disc.
https://vinegarsyndrome.com/products/beastmaster

VS shouldn't be expected to ship you a disc if you bought it from some jackass flipper. Play stupid games...

I just placed a VS order a few days ago. I got Raw Force, Frat House, and Jungle Blue. Frat House and Jungle Blue are my first Adult Titles from VS and I'm buying them out of curiosity. Frat House is a parody of Animal House. I might buy Beastmaster in the future and possibly during the Halfway to Black Friday Sale.

i can't believe this is still around. it looks at least on paper like a great and most definitive set. i was surprised to see on their site over 1,000 left in stock or something. but, i would get it now because you never know with these things.

re: The Official Vinegar Syndrome Thread

Just got shipping notification from that Shop app, now, on phone. Can’t wait to see Beastmaster again and in the best way possible and those amazing extras. This is gonna be one of my mantle pieces, like I said, but it’s a childhood fav like The Hitcher. So glad I have both and have them in best form they’ll be tight now.

I guess I could give away Divimax DVD. It’s funny, this has the Saga of the Beastmaster extra, but it says HD on DVD, but one site said SD on Blu-ray. Would that be correct?

I have not. Been lagging on this title. Maybe in the next couple of days I'll finally dig in.

I got my copy of Beastmaster in a few days ago and it looks good. Some of the colors seemed a bit strong though.

Okay, so those who already got it when it was first available will automatically get the corrected disc sent?

That is what they said. However, I'm still waiting on the corrected 2nd BD disc. My UHD disc and 1st BD disc are both fine, so I'm not in a rush to get it.

re: The Official Vinegar Syndrome Thread

This will probably be my second or third favorite release of all time. Second and third to The Hitcher (1986) and OldBoy (2003) respective releases. It just was my childhood. I know I saw in theaters and then of course the many times on Cable until that stopped. Why is that? Why isn’t still aired? I’ve never seen on Optimum, ever and I’m sure it wouldn’t be HD, let alone even UHD. Actually fourth. Even though it’s a newer favorite as I obviously didn’t grow up with it, but my Criterion Blu is probably my third, even though don’t see it many times, of The Third Man, which I still have wrapped bc I have a Netflix copy of the Criterion Blu from when I used to do disc service and I guess never gave back, so get all content, but original still sealed for some reason. And it’s keepcase not that digipack that I think people hated.

How’s VS shipping? How long from order to get? They use good packaging? Thanks.

The packaging is just fine, -my edition of Beastmaster came in a nice little box. As for the shipping, -mine got caught up in the December delays and took forever to get to me, but that's not really VS's fault.

Only 1 state away. Could be tomorrow, more likely Wednesday. As I said will be popping in for that night without hesitation. After I see Beastmaster, I’m gonna watch the fine Mr. Singer play the same role except clothed with the two Blu-ray’s of V: The Original MiniSeries and V: The Final Battle. Kenneth Johnson was among many that captivated my youth and still adore today.

My Beastmaster replacement disk arrived with my January shipment yesterday. I did not have to contact them to request a disk.
