Fans of the show may want to hold onto their DVD set anyway, since the Blu-ray set has completely different extras.

Yup... I had the original releases pre-16 ton megaset. I kept the discs and inserts but tossed the cases and boxes when I got the exploding Blu-ray set.

Yes, it came in a 5-disc case so it’s quite a bit slimmer than my DVD set. I have not yet viewed the discs.

Have you opened it? I've read on other forums some received it with the disc holders broken.

I read those reports. Mine is nothing like that. Everything is perfect inside. And even though mine was shipped in those sticky corrugated cardboard sheets, it only sustained a couple minor creases on the slipcase.
