That’s all? And dick move with the bonus disc not being available in digital. Good way to screw the fans over.

Nah... I'm good with the individual releases. I have the entire (original) run of steel books that started with Avengers.

Still... nice set.

That is nothing new. Physical media box sets always have exclusive extras that can't be obtained anywhere else.

Hell, when Breaking Bad ended, people here were pissed because Sony included a special 2 hour making of documentary bonus disc that was only on the complete series box set. Some here actually pirated it because it was isolated to that set.

So nothing new here. And most are simply not going to sell off their collection of 4K's and BD's to get this when you're going to get less than 10% of it's value. This is only for the hardcore fan or someone who simply hasn't bought any of them all these years.

I like it because it's cool, but not cool enough for me to be tempted to spend 500 bucks on stuff that I already have but that's in a fancy new case with something that I can youtube later.

Re: Marvel's The Infinity Saga Collector's Edition -- 11/15/19

I’ve always preferred individual releases for long running franchises. Especially when the films are continuing to come out (yeah, the Infinity Saga is over, but the MCU is still going). I have everything released other than Endgame and Far From Home (waiting for Black Friday) so this is a pass. Plus I’m not sure if I like the individual art cases, which look to be some kind of paper or cardstock sleeves.

I’m aware of all of this. Still a dick move, especially coming from Disney.

I get that some people get mad when they can't get all the "exclusives" that come out for movies they love, but why is it a dick move? I mean they need something extra to sell units? Otherwise, everyone is just going to wait until the 4Ks and BDs are super cheap. If they gave away the "extra" for digital, then no one who is even slightly interested will buy this.

This was a multi-billion dollar movie franchise, of course they're going to add something extra. It's business and who knows if we'll ever get MCU box sets like this in the future.

I don't think Disney is that worried about the "Budget" and "Penny-Pinching" fans who look for bargains for their stuff. There are always the hardcore fans who will buy whatever they put out. I'm sure you'll be seeing many unboxing videos of this set come November. I get that most don't have an extra $500 laying around to frivolously throw away on stuff that they don't really need. So this is not for the casual fan.

Pre-ordered mine from Best buy. I never bought any of these on 4k because I was hoping for something like this. I do wish they had released a Phase 3 set to match my other two, I would've bought that as well.

Re: Marvel's The Infinity Saga Collector's Edition -- 11/15/19

Limited to 3500 copies. Even if I went to 4K, I think I would still pass for me at this price.

Most of my money is going to other things besides movies these days. I do not have a home theater, maybe on our next house.
. The price is too high for me and I already own most of these movies besides the last two phases.but your getting 23 4K movies, still why not release more copies and price around $350 with more bonus material.

The artwork is okay, I'll have to wait and see it in person. I'm hearing only 2 hours of bonus material. That can not be right.

I might just get the four region free blu-ray Marvel Studios phase sets collector's editions from the UK.
Not as nice, but two of blu-ray sets are price around $40 each right now. Amazon.uk always has great deals on their box sets.Though sometimes you got to wait.
Might even buy 4k/blu-ray sets just in case we upgrade to 4K in the future.

I wonder if Martin Scorsese will be giving these out as gifts this holiday season?

The ones I really like, already (or plan to) have on 4K. If I was still collecting, I might have considered it.

Any official disc count yet? It'd be nice if it actually had all previously released content but I doubt it. Stuff like the second disc from the Paramount Iron Man 1 & 2 BDs, the Target exclusive Avengers documentary, or the exclusive content from the Phase One and Two sets.

Yeah Iron Man 1 has an almost 2 hour documentary on the old Paramount 2 disc set. But subsequent releases dropped it.

That display angle is so... odd. Can it stay up on a shelf as usual, or will the angled cut make it topple?

I was going to say something like who would wait 10+ years to get any of these so they've saved up to get this... but then again... around here...

There is a 4K UHD BD version as a Best Buy exclusive, with a monthly payment option.

Re: Marvel's The Infinity Saga Collector's Edition -- 11/15/19

The price isn't terrible IF you don't have any of the prior movies. It comes out to $24 a movie. I remember when BB had the 3D steelbooks for $20 and then slightly raised the price each release, and at the end is was $35 for the 4K steelbook.

EDIT: I did notice that it doesn't mention anything about digital copies included, so that would suck if that's the case.

Yeah, that's what I was about to say, it may not matter to some but no digital. Plus the steelbook was at a premium, the normal releases were often cheaper, so you really really have to like the packaging and/or the exclusivity of it for this to be worth it. Though if you're a big enough fan to buy this AND you haven't ever bought a Marvel film before, that's some self restraint.

If you note the individual cases, there is an angled cut, so I guess the set has that in the back. I guess you'll need a fairly large flat space to have it lie there like that.

$24 bucks a movie...so basically no discount for buying them all in a set like this. Sadly, I own too many of them already on 4K to make this worth an investment...and those disc holders "appear" to be pretty flimsy.

At least 47.You would think Disney would also release a Infinity Saga Collector's Edition in the UK.
But the riff they have with Amazon.I do not think it happens now, which sucks for all fans of these movies. Maybe they sill do at a latter date.

been reported not confirmed the missing bonus disks are:
The missing bonus disks are:
Iron Man
Iron Man 2
Avengers
Phase 1
Phase 2
