I'm sure it is final because it's not the movie poster and yes it is terrible. What were they thinking? The Homecoming one, while also hand drawn, was WAY better.

I'd like to think that it's the difference between painting with paint and painting with Photoshop, but maybe my assumptions about the gorgeous Homecoming steelbook are incorrect. But, yeah, no way I'm ponying up for the Far from Home steelbook. The Endgame steelbook is awful too, though it's a more low-key, mundane flavor of awful.

Endgame is just meh. I wouldn't call it awful by any means. This on the other hand.... I have collected EVERY Best Buy exclusive MCU Steelbook at release (not the re-release ones) since the first they offered - The Avengers in 2012. That's 16 of them so far and one more on the way. How bad would it have to look for me to pass on one? THIS bad.

I'm wishing I hadn't canceled my Zavvi preorder when the Best Buy listing first opened. Zavvi's artwork still isn't finalized (and could wind up being identical to this one), but if there's even a chance they get different art I should have waited. It's sort of hit or miss with Marvel titles whether Zavvi gets the same artwork as Best Buy or different.

That's why I don't care about Steelbooks. I've never understood why they became such a collector's item for some and why some are so obsessed with the artwork.

I'll just get the regular 4K UHD with hopefully regular artwork.

Some places are reporting its coming out September 17th for digital and October 1st on disc. not sure how accurate that is though

Per this Forbes article , "approximately four additional minutes of a never-before-seen action sequence ", so I'm assuming it's just a deleted scene (which would be on the BD) that was added back in.

Most likely it's the cut montage from early in the film of Peter getting ready for his trip and helping the cops clean up the neighborhood.

According to AMC, the extended cut is 135 minutes

The theatrical version was 129 minutes
