The wait is almost over for the home video release of John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum. We can exclusively reveal that the latest John Wick movie will be released on Digital HD on Friday, August 23, with the DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD releases following on Tuesday, September 10.

The 4K Ultra HD release will include both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos options. In addition, the 4K, Blu-ray and Digital HD releases will all include the following bonus features:
  • “Parabellum: Legacy of the High Table” Featurette
  • “Excommunicado” Featurette
  • “Check Your Sights” Featurette
  • “Saddle Up Wick” Featurette
  • “Bikes, Blades, Bridges, and Bits” Featurette
  • “Continental in the Desert” Featurette
  • “Dog Fu” Featurette
  • “House of Transparency” Featurette
  • “Shot by Shot” Featurette
  • Theatrical Trailer #1
  • Theatrical Trailer #2
  • John Wick Hex Game Trailer
  • “Behind the Scenes of John Wick Hex” Featurette
The DVD release will include a more limited lineup of bonus features:
  • “Parabellum: Legacy of the High Table” Featurette
  • “Excommunicado” Featurette
  • Theatrical Trailer #1
  • Theatrical Trailer #2
  • John Wick Hex Game Trailer
  • “Behind the Scenes of John Wick Hex” Featurette

I saw that on Best Buy back when it first showed up on their site and I had to chuckle. There's a mini steelbook that contains...a piece of paper with a digital code on it?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what it's supposed to be, I don't know.

The mini-steelbook w/ the digital copy is available for purchase by itself for $20 for those who don't want any of the physical media.

Uh huh. That in no way contradicts my statement that the Steelbook release alone also comes with a digital code for the movie

Yes but it's not unprecedented. The Halo 4 CE came with a Steelbook for a digital code. So did people who bought a year of Game Pass for the release of Crackdown 3. They are collectable items.

So, you're thinking if someone buys the $40 edition with both the steelbooks then they'll receive two digital codes? That seems unlikely.

I didn't know that. If true, that'll make the extra $5 for the combo deal worth it, as you could sell the extra DC.

but the above post specifically says doesn't come in regular Steel, so doubtful you'd get 2. i think it's fucking stupid to pay an extra $5.00 for digital code. hope it's not a trend...

But the above post is WRONG. I specifically copied the description from Best Buy which describes the Steelbook only listing as having [DC] which in their parlance is a digital copy (at least I'm pretty sure that's what it means. They abbreviate it elsewhere
