Amazon.UK noticed me that this will arrive early September. For 3D that is, but comes with a bonus disc that wasn’t mentioned before. I can wait, I hope.

It's pricey for sure, but I love how it looks, I only currently have Infinity War, and I have some Reward Zone credit, so I will probably pony up for it and sell my existing Infinity War steelbook.

Out on digital in an hour or so. All the features of blu, plus an extra and the commentary. Still getting the 3D, but need to see this again ASAP...

I’d almost be tempted to double dip on just the four Avengers film in that Best Buy Steelbook set, but there’s no way I’m dropping $150 for it. Like the last few MCU films I’ll just grab the standard 4K release. I don’t have any of the special releases for the other films to date and prefer them to look uniform (other than the blue or black case colors for Blu-ray or 4K).

I wish all of these Marvel UHD sets had stackable hubs, so those of us who previously bought the blu's - and more importantly the sets with 3D discs - can move the 3D discs and put them into the UHD sets. That's my plan at least, just don't know how to put those discs in there.

What I WISH for is for these Marvel UHDs include the 3D disk.
Marvel superhero movies are perfectly suited for the format.
All the flying around and whatnot looks great in 3D...

3D is dead in the states now. Best option is to just combine the 3D discs with the 4K sets.

I want this, but I don't know if I want it that bad to spend $30 on it.

Even if you buy it now, would you watch it before November or December? If not, just hold out until Black Friday or Christmas. IW 4K was $15.

Probably not. I have other things I need to watch that are more pressing than something I saw twice already.

Last year I also waited until Black Friday to get Ant Man and the Wasp for $15, I guess I will do the same for this.

Usually $27-30 is standard week 1, especially 4K.

Maybe in about 3-4 weeks, it will drop to $25.

Probably down to the $19.99 range, maybe for Labor Day sales. Then $14.99 for the holidays/Black Friday.

I know I’ll buy it eventually, but with releases around this time of year I start waiting for Black Friday sales. Saw it twice in the theater and I don’t need to watch it again quite yet.

My set arrived today right on time and the outer box is in fact metal (tin), which is awesome! Of course, Best Buy shipped it with no padding so it arrived with a sizable dent in it and I had to exchange it in store (should have just done shipped to store).

This was pricey, but now that it's in my hands, I think it's worth the money. The outer metal box has the Avengers "A" logo embossed in it (not just printed) on the front (or back depending on how you look at it). The Steelbooks themselves have beautiful, simple, but elegant outer artwork and slide into felt-lined slots in the case. For big fans of these movies, this set is spectacular.

Edit to add: It also includes a note from Kevin Feige printed on nice black cardstock with silver foil lettering on one side and a black embossed Avengers logo on the other side.
