i bought the Blu-ray version, obviously. not 4K at all. the regular LE of Blus. and for all the cuts and all the extras on Blu and best that i can get right now. there is no separate thread for just Blus of this set so i posted my feelings of Blu version. 1080p certainly better than DVD, so...

of course, i don't denounce the greatness of 4K at all, and i wouldn't say no to a free tv that shows movies in much higher quality. i'm not a moron. i know the great advantages of a/v of 4K, but i wouldn't use as main tv. that has to be my 3D, but of course i would accept a 4K. so if you're offering dlf, then pm me and i'll send you my address

I’ve held onto my 3D Panasonic plasma like grim death, but I realized the better picture quality is more important than the handful of times a year I watch a 3D movie. Besides I’m not throwing my tv in the trash and pissing all over it, I’m moving it to another room.

Just got this email from DD.I used a CC and a 15% off code and ordered over a month ago. Just going to ordered from Amazon.uk if I decide I still want the set.
Looks like it is a rights issue with Rubinstein ?
Really I do not buy many preorders.

Got the same email from DD. It's funny, first I ordered from Base, then I ordered from DD as a backup, then Base cancelled and I ordered from Amazon UK as a backup. Now I just have an order with Amazon UK, which I hope goes through.

There have been a few times I've regretted ordering from Diabolik, but as more and more places have canceled people's orders, I'm feeling a little better. They've always been dependable in the past so staying optimistic.

Random b-d . com forum member getting a FB message from the official Second Sight account is something... but all they said was "There will be a more 'standard' version later." which... isn't a lot, and isn't rock-solid, IMO. They definitely don't confirm all 3 cuts, unless there was a follow-up since then.

You guys said all the same stuff before they confirmed standard edition was coming. This is standard practice for all these boutiques. They cut out the goodies, but the content doesn’t change. Why don’t we all email them to ask and confirm.
