I think Zavvi is your only recourse if you have to have the UHD. They seem to still be accepting orders.
If you can "settle" for the Bd, AmazonUK is still taking orders from US customers.

I've been watching the restoration in 1080p over and over and over as part of the QC regimen and if someone said to me that that was as good as it was gonna get, I'd still be ecstatic. But watching the 4K theatrical version was like watching it anew all over again, it doesn't reinvent the movie but just adds those extra touches of grain, resolution and range that 4K HDR does so well.
I've yet to see the 4K HDR version of the extended cut though, as the additional segments were sourced from CRI rather than OG negative and when putting the SDR transfer together it took a fair bit of finagling to get them to match the negative-sourced theatrical sections for colour and density. So I wonder how they've got on with it in HDR.

While I do think there will likely be a non-limited edition down the road, I don't think I'd hold my breath waiting for a U.S. release.

No, it's still £10 more for the UHD over the Bd at Zavvi- those prices are using Zavvi's currency conversion (by using the US version of the website).
Zavvi also doesn't remove VAT for non-UK customers whereas if you order the bd from Amazon, that extra 15% (or whatever it is) will be taken off.

GREAT deal. I'm paying $12 more for just the Bd set from Diabolik.
Wishing I had gotten the 4K instead now, but I don't look forward to trying to sell an expensive region locked Bd set on ebay. Might as well just stick with it.
I'm also relieved that it's already completely paid for. Don't need another close to $100 bill due in December.
