Yup, my pre-order keeps reflecting the lower price as its been dropping. Been checking because despite their claim, I've seen amazon pre-orders not drop.

I hemmed and hawed and this until finally caving and ordering it at $69.94 just before midnight. This morning, it's up to $90.52. My copy won't ship until December 17th, but I can live with that.

I got a $10 credit from Amazon for a blu ray that arrived a day late (and that I paid $6.99 for), so I applied it to this. So $59.94 for the 6 is fine by me.

Well I just got my copy from Amazon - they sent me the fucking Blu-ray set even though my order was clearly for the 4K. And now it's not in stock until the 20th. I processed the replacement anyway since there's no way I'm paying 90+ to get it elsewhere. Hopefully no one else here that ordered from Amazon gets the same shit.

not to gloat but I just got my 6-movie 4K UHD/bluray Collection from Amazon in the mail and it's interesting how they packaged this - the bluray's are in a separate jewel case from the 4K UHD discs - for those interested in knowing the codes for each movie are separate not a combined one, like Fox did with the Predator UHD box set.

I noticed that my order history on Amazon says "Mission: Impossible 6 Movie Collection [Blu-ray]" even though clicking on the link takes you to the correct 4k listing. I've been kind of worried that they'll send me the wrong one.

Tyler Foster, reviewer for this site, has confirmed that the 6-movie UHD set is missing 3 Blu-ray discs of bonus features (from M:I-3, Ghost Protocol, and Rogue Nation) that are included with the standalone UHD copies as well as the older Blu-ray editions.

I feel like a couple of the recent MI movies that I own came with additional Target exclusive discs of bonus content too.

I have the first 5 on blu with the Best Buy bonus versions of 4 and 5 and those were the only ones I had with digital copies. Decided to double dip on the set to get the first 5 in 4K and the UHD digital copies. Didn't make sense to get Fallout 4K now then decide I wanted the others later in 4K. Handing down 1-3 to a friend.

Re: Mission Impossible: Fallout — 12/4/18
Ghost Protocol and Rogue Nation both had store exclusive bonus feature (blu-ray) discs that I always figured would not be part of this set and I would be adding them in. But it sucks that that most of the standard features for MI 3 are MIA.

To recap, folks - if you have bought this set, here's what else you need to have ALL the Mission: Impossible on-disc content:
So in addition to the 6 movie discs (and the secondary Fallout disc) in this set, there's still four more discs you'll need to track down if you want everything, bringing the total number of produced discs with unique content to 11.

I have the first five on BD and digital (partly thanks to the free UV offer a few years back), but I may go digital-only on this one.

Doing the exact same thing as well. I also have those extra discs, so I’m thinking of finding a couple of extra cases, and maybe some custom artwork for them.

Re: Mission Impossible: Fallout — 12/4/18
I got screeners from the studio (for reviews right here on DVD Talk) for both the 4K Ghost Protocol and 4K Rogue Nation. Ghost Protocol came with two Blu-ray discs (one with the movie-only, one with bonus materials) and Rogue Nation came with two Blu-rays (one with movie + bonuses and one with additional bonus materials). I didn't know until now those were store exclusives...or maybe they were only store exclusives for the Blu-ray release?

Re: Mission Impossible: Fallout — 12/4/18
Was the 2nd Ghost Protocol disc one of those examples of the exclusive meaning there are more features on the same 2nd disc as the standard edition?

I'm not sure how many other times Paramount has done this before, but it was a similar story with Terminator: Genisys. Best Buy had a disc overflowing with extras a few years back, and that was included with the Ultra HD Blu-ray release.
Spoiler:

I selected UHD and when it was put in my Cart it magically changed to BD, which I received a few days later.
Miffed and puzzled, I got online and re-ordered the UHD and then discovered what had happened.
It was weeks before Amazon straightened out its page.
I can't recall ever having seen Amazon's ordering interface do this before...their software is usually as rock-solid as anything on the Net.
Lesson learned...I guess.
