The original 5 Planet of the Apes movies possibly coming to 4K

Read this:

mtifilm.com/news/2017/3/6/mti-restoration-escape-from-planet-of-apes

They already preserved them - surely all 5, not just "Escape".

AND THEN:

Find this:

quadcinema.com/program/go-ape-a-planet-of-the-apes-marathon

mobile.twitter.com/QuadCinema/status/1027629109613088769

facebook.com/events/654291138290657

A marathon of 4K restorations...

We could get Ultra BDs in the future to come. Just wondering if Disney will care.

It's so weird that Disney will now own Planet of the Apes.

Unless there's some kind of significant restoration with all original 5, then I have zero interest. The original blu set stills just fine for me.

I'm a pretty big fan of all of them so I'll buy it.

I never upgraded from my original DVD set (I gave away the ape bust), so I'd consider getting a 4k set when it's nice and cheap. No rush though.
