Surprisingly I see that they dropped price on Predator Trilogy 4K set and it reflected on my pre-order. It's now $51.29

Predator Trilogy 4K
$43.97

Better price than Amazon. If Amazon does not lower it I will cancel.
Has anyone ever shopped at bull moose?

Re: Blu-ray/4K: What do you have on pre-order?
This question is particularly re: 4k steelbooks (and me pre-ordering them. I originally posted this in DVD packaging sub, but a bit dead over there).
1) Do steelbooks tend to appreciate in value? I've never cared about steelbooks that much, but now that I am collecting 4k (and therefore purchasing some movies that I used to stream or rent in order to get peak quality), I'm tempted to get any steelbook release that looks moderately interesting, especially if I know I can flip it for about what I paid for it (or more) down the road.
2) How long do they generally stay in print? I bought Blank Panther 4k steelbook at Best Buy, and a bit surprised to see that anyone can still pick it up.
Not looking for sage wisdom on the future of 4k format or its desirability; just looking for the general trend with steelbooks. Thanks!

Just depends on the movie and/or steelbook. No rhyme or reason on how they appreciate or depreciate in value. Kind of like cryptocurrency, you’re just gambling. Some 4K steelbooks have exclusives like adding a 3D disc (usually Best Buy does this), in which case those appreciate in value faster and go out of print, but overall, it’s just a crapshoot. Go to EBay and lookup steelbooks to give you an idea of their values.
Overall, Marvel and Disney classic cartoon steelbooks tend to hold their value and rise in price since they usually go out of print.
