We saw it in 3D non IMAX and then in 3D IMAX. I have to say the scope of IMAX was amazing for sure.

Release day and still no listing on Amazon. Is that unusual?

For anyone that is a Disney Movie Club member, they have free shipping right now and Infinity War 4K is 29.95. Not the best price on its own but it would make a pretty good fulfillment (also, Solo 4K is the same price, so that's my 2 fulfillments for my current account).

How can they price match what they don't have for sale?

If you have Cartwheel, Target has it for 10% off the sale price on any version for four more days.

This MIGHT be the Amazon 4K version--hard to say for sure. Out of stock, $24.96, only for Prime members.

You nailed it.

When I search Amazon for the UPC (786936858112), the link you shared is what comes up.

I found it in the search results, way down the page, of course.

What does "Cinematic Universe Edition" mean? If anything?

Went to Best Buy today during my lunch break at work and I pricematched Walmart. Pricematches are so annoying at Best Buy because anything more than $1 has to get a manager approval.

Decided to just order the 4K from Walmart. I’ll do a store pickup tomorrow.

Well, generally these movies are considered the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There just referencing all the movies meshing into one, I suppose...

This 10% off in addition to being able to sell the Digital Code, made me very happy with the price I paid for the Standard BD.

picked my copy at BB last night. I thought I got the regular steelbook, but I'm not complaining.

I hit Target last night at 9, and the stand-alone display was cleaned out of the 4K. I went to the movies section, and they had four copies left so I grabbed one.

Re: Avengers: Infinity War -- August 14, 2018

I picked up the steel for this yesterday morning, along with the 4K steels for the first two films.

To be honest, I far prefer the art design of the Target exclusive.

I ordered one for pickup but don't know if I'll follow through. I'm "meh" about the graphics on IW, but the cases for the first two look killer, and it's nice having all three as steels on the shelf.

And before anyone says it- I have an art background and have always, ever since I was a little kid, appreciated package design. So yeah, that aspect is worth some little premium to me.

From my understanding, there's no regular version for the steelbook or the Target exclusive. Both exclusives seem to only be available in 4K/BD Combo only.

Re: Avengers: Infinity War -- August 14, 2018

FYI, for those of you trying to sell the digital code to make a few bucks, keep in mind, the 32 minute extra The Directors Roundtable is a digital exclusive and if you sell the code, you lose that extra. It's not on the BD disc.
