Why So Blu?

There was a recent update to HBO MAX, if you were using Apple TV 4K, that screwed things up. I wasn't getting DV or Atmos on stuff that should have had it.

At least with the JL 4K disc I have true stability going forward.

It’s the same for both. The 24 minute documentary that you can currently watch on HBO Max. Nothing else. Snyder didn’t even record a commentary track,

Since I just bought the 4K re-release of Batman V Superman I’ll go with just the single 4K release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Eventually I’ll upgrade Man of Steel to 4K as well.

Best Buy Steelbook disappeared recently from their website. Not a sold out notice or anything. Just gone. Not sure what is the status for anyone who pre-ordered. I had it in my saved items and it is no longer there and a search does not find it either. Just the regular release for 9/7.

I'm going to hold off for awhile until the price goes down a bit. I haven't watched it since I saw it the 1st night it was released on HBO Max and I doubt I will even if I bought the disc.

I can still watch it anytime on HBO Max. It's not going anywhere.

Not an HBO subscriber so picked up the regular 4k today. I have my evening planned, which works out to approximately $7.50 per hour of entertainment!

I saw this in Target tonight but didn't buy it yet. I'm guessing there's no digital copy included because Warner Bros. is still trying to make its money back they spent on it.

This isn’t as bad as I remembered some of when I saw maybe 20 min first time. I’m liking the darkness and much more character build. Especially with Flash and Iris first encounter. Still don’t like the whole Frankenstein theme with resurrection and Cyborg. I think Fisher is terrible. One note and I thought it couldn’t get more dark and broodier than Affleck’s Batman or even Bale’s. Fisher just takes Cyborg to a dull, don’t care level. Saw a little over an hour so far, but definitely not hating and much better than JL. Will have to see how they handle the resurrection. I love how all their theme songs play too. At least the ones we’ve seen solos from. Not bad. Eager to keep going over weekend.
