Why So Blu?

That's probably the one I'm getting by default since I'll just be snagging the Digital HD version a month early. I'm sure they will do the Disc/Digital deal and since Wal-Mart owns VUDU - it's the one they will send over.

I think the movie was doomed regardless of any marketing or Superman appearance after the tepid response to Batman V Superman. That's why it was always weird to me for those who have enjoyed the DCEU movies so far to argue that everything was fine because it made money, when it was clear that the movie quality would catch up to them.

Hell, I liked it though. I'll buy the UHD!

I’m just guessing based on there apparently only being a single deleted scene (which is a retailer exclusive).

I don’t know if there will be a different cut of the film in this case. Both films that have had different cuts on home video came out that way to begin with. I think WB would be foolish to think they’re going to get much more than the diehard DCEU fans to double dip on a film that was by all means a tremendous flop. Even if it happens I think the cut more people want (Snyder’s version) is even less likely to come out as they’d have to bring him in to put it together and from the sounds of things a lot of the special effects work isn’t complete for that version. If it happens I’m guessing it would be down the line quite a ways (maybe when DC films are thriving rather than not).

That's the steelbook from Best Buy. They've been doing this thing where the DC movies have comic book art on their steelbooks, which is cool, but they started with (I think) Wonder Woman, so the previously released MoS and BvS ones don't match and were reissued.

Still, it's much better than the crappy regular cover using those cardboard cutouts.

edited to add: actually I take that back, I think they did a comic book one for Logan too. And Homecoming. So it's not just DC?

The regular 4K artwork is cool with the exception of Ray Fisher being tacked on in the back.

It feels he was an afterthought or the artist went....shit, I forgot to add Cybog, I'll just tack on some random pose in the back.

I've seen Justice League twice already. I'm going to hold off on this for a price reduction.

While I like the comic book look of the American steelbook, this one is much cleaner to me and actually screams "team" to me rather than individuals and a priority listing if that makes sense. It comes to $40 American including shipping and the big bonus? Delivered to my door, the Blade Runner 2049 experience has soured me a wee bit.
