Wolf (D: Nichols S: Nicholson, Pfeiffer) Indicator Films 11/20/17 (UK)

Since sub-genres are in this sub-forum I figured I'd put this one here.

So Indicator is releasing a special edition remaster of Wolf. I own the U.S. barebones(?) edition and if this one has a better remaster then I am for it.

INDICATOR LIMITED BLU-RAY EDITION SPECIAL FEATURES:
  • High Definition remaster
  • Stereo audio
  • 5.1 surround sound track
  • The Beast Inside: Creating Wolf (2017, 54 mins): a new documentary on the making of the film with new interviews from SFX legend Rick Baker, screenwriter Wesley Strick and producer Douglas Wick
  • Never-before-seen archival interviews with director Mike Nichols, actors Michelle Pfeiffer, James Spader and Kate Nelligan, producer Douglas Wick and writer Jim Harrison
  • Never-before-seen archival interviews with SFX maestro Rick Baker and production designer Bo Welch
  • B-roll footage
  • Original theatrical trailer
  • Image gallery: on-set and promotional photography
  • New and improved English subtitles for the deaf and hard-of-hearing
  • Limited edition exclusive booklet with a new essay by Brad Stevens, an overview of contemporary critical responses, and historic articles on the film
  • UK premiere on Blu-ray
  • Limited Blu-ray Edition of 3,000 copies

Yeah, Indicator releases tend to be Region B, with the exception of a few. Body Double is region free, for example.

That other site has this one listed as Region B, though.

Body Double and John Carpenter's Vampires are region free and are Sony titles. Wolf is under the same umbrella so you never know. There might be hope for a region free release.

Indicator's release of The Last Detail is region-free, too.

Yeah, would be great if this is region-free. Crossing my fingers.

I also own Ghosts of Mars and Anderson Tapes under the Indicator release label. Both are region free. I think it stands a pretty good chance that Wolf also falls under the same release strategy.

I know some region-free titles you can watch the film, but sometimes the extras are PAL encoded. They wouldn’t be the case here, would it?

Every Indicator/Powerhouse title I look up on Amazon UK are listed as Region Free -and reviews seem to back that up, -with no PAL material. The two I own (Body double and The Sinbad Trilogy) are RF and fully playable. They have a pretty nice catalog, but I need a sale from them like Twilight Time sometimes have.

Same transfer as the US release? Lame. I want this for the extras, but I’ll wait for a serious price drop.

I noticed Indicator is releasing Charley Varrick in the UK. I'll hold off till RF verified. Fingers crossed.
