FWIW, you can sign up on wbshop.com for an email alert when it comes back in stock there. I did that, got an email last week and by the time I looked, it was out of stock again. I have the DVDs, so I'll just wait it out until the initial demand dies down.

Received the Blu-Ray set for Christmas, watching this show again cleaned up took a bit to get use to. I have the DVD sets and did not mind the video quality of the show on DVD, always thought it added to the "Old Style" of the show.

After watching the show for 2 weeks, I will never go back to DVD.

But, this is one of the shows that it does not matter the VQ...it is the writing/actring and art that makes a difference.

Based on how into this set I was before the holidays, my partner got me Batman Beyond (currently only on DVD) and it was weird to go from such a fine looking printing of a show taking place in the past to the DVD print of the show taking place in the future. Still, Beyond was fantastic as well!

I love Batman Beyond too. Here's hoping that the success of B:TAS on blu will prompt Warner Bros to consider upgrading Batman Beyond. I know I'd buy it.

Superman: The Animated Series is up next for consideration. I wouldn't hold my breath on Batman Beyond as physical media wanes.

It's been waning for years, and we still get stuff we never expected to hit physical media still coming out. I'm hoping for Superman at this point. Batman Beyond, well they can stop before that one.

Smashed packaging, I guess - I just skimmed it, seemed like a lot of consternation.

Yeah, that's on Amazon's shipping methods. Maybe someone knows for sure but I doubt that's changed much (i dunno, I bought it from Best Buy for this exact reason).

I think some people have reported on the other forum that some of the new stripped-down sets lack a digital code. Wouldn't surprise me, the studios are now often stripping digital codes from represses on a wide array of releases.
