I went ahead and opened my Target version and it looks nice, but when I put it on the shelf I noticed it's massively larger than a regular Bluray case and really stands out from the rest of my X-Film collection. Now I'm sorta regretting keeping it.

I'm going to wait for unboxing videos for future special releases going forward.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing as well. That was the only reason I ordered the 4K one at the last minute while they were still offering the $5 gift card. I thought they might actually have the discs in the book instead of separate. I think the steelbook is ugly and the Target exclusive, while nice, has horrible packaging. For once, the regular old release was the best pick.

I missed the Target pre-order but was at the store at 8am. They had THREE exclusive copies. Guy walking ahead of me got one and I took another. Glad I went early I guess.

I think I'll just get the standard Blu-ray. Not really a fan of the Target exclusive going by the video posted earlier.

Thanks for the confirmation that some are still getting physical gift cards. I was going to check out if I could still even choose that option (out of curiosity) when doing one of their pre-order offers, but there doesn't appear to be any of those $5 card offers at this point.

But I got my e-card and finally received my Logan digibook 2 days after the release date. Personally I think it was the best option for anybody that wanted something other than the standard release.

I got the Target book. The book itself is actually really nice, but yeah, the way discs are situated is awful. The slipcover is also very tight and somewhat difficult to slip on and off, at least at first.

Nevertheless, I'm glad I got it. The book is top notch with a soft rubberized finish on the cover and beautiful glossy b&w photo pages. My wife and I watched the Making Logan series of featurettes and really enjoyed them - made us want to watch the movie again!

I haven't blind purchased a movie in ages but for this one I did. I heard great things about the movie. Have enjoyed many aspects of the franchise, and figured I would end up with it eventually anyway. I bought the regular 4K set from BB for $25. I don't mind the extra $5 for the 4K version. I have no use for a DVD version and my purchases are all offset (at least partially) by RZ money anyway. The big thing about trying to collect 4K, you miss out on that big price drop in a few months that the BR experience and there isn't much used floating around.

give it a few weeks. it'll be $15.

I noticed on the slipcover it mentioned the Noir version is a "limited edition" Which prob means in a year or so when its time to do the tie in version to the next X-Men movies, that version will prob be discontinued

I "fixed" the loose disc issue with my Target Logan book by picking up some adhesive disc hubs from Microcenter and adding them to the disc slots. Now the discs stay secure:

I got rid of the DVD and the Noir sleeve and put the Noir disc in the back cover slot.

Just a heads up, regular blu ray is going to be on sale for $11.99 at Best Buy next week. That went on sale a lot faster than I thought it would.

Wow, nice. Will the Best Buy version have the Noir disc? I wonder if Target price matches them, because I have a few Target gift cards burning a hole in the drawer waiting for something like this.

Yes, the bluray set is 2 blurays and 1 DVD.

What makes you think it's a Director's Cut? The theatrical run time is listed on that page and it doesn't say Director's Cut anywhere that I can find...
