Best Buy is swimming in copies now. Unfortunately their asking price is $24.99.

If the price difference stays the same and the steelbook is essentially the same in look, I'll opt for the non-3d Blu-ray.

I saw this movie finally over the past weekend, and while it was very good, it wasn't a blow away like I hoped. And this is coming from somebody who loves Doctor Strange. (probably my third favorite comic book hero growing up behind Daredevil and Flash)

I wanted the story to be deeper and if they could use less of the scenes where everything was happening in a 360 degree playing field, it would help. My wife also agreed with me on the same points but she enjoyed the overall premise.

Weird, this is the first time they are offering two different steelbook versions.

Well, they offered a regular and a 3D/4K Steelbook exclusive for Ghostbusters (2016), but this is the first time they've done it with a Marvel title. They've always been 3D Steelbooks since Thor Dark World (Avengers Steelbook was a pre-order bonus and not part of the actual Blu Ray.

It looks to me like it's the same SteelBook, just with a different cardboard backer that wraps over the top.

It's the same Steelbook, but there are two different SKUs with the Steelbook. Usually only the 3D Blu Rays are available in the Steelbook packaging for those Marvel movies.

That's gorgeous. Almost makes me wish I had the other movies in Steelbook to match but I'm not starting over now.

And I haven't seen the Transformers movie since I was a kid, but I want that one for some reason.

The movie isn't really my cup of tea, but that Steelbook is pretty. It's got that Lenticular look with kind of a rainbow glow in the light. Disc has a LOT of extras as well.

Looks like I got lucky on this Transfomers Animated movie steelbook...I was able to get it for $16.99 from Best Buy on Friday night. It is still on Amazon and Bestbuy, but is now back to $24.99 new price instead.
