I still have my VCI DVD of Return of the Living Dead 3 (which is uncut), so I'm really happy there's news about the BD being released uncut.
I almost paid $35+ for the LE Japanese release of the film which has the R-Rated version on BD and the Uncut version on DVD. Glad I didn't now!

I'm going to marry the unrated ROTLD3.
Damn. Once ROTLD3 unrated, Until the End of the World Criterion, and The Abyss come out, that will fulfill my dream list.

I'm not wildly enthusiastic over the pricing. That feels like a shameless money grab when you price niche films that high for which you already own the rights. When Scream Factory or Arrow Video price their releases, remember they are always paying someone else a certain licensing fee.
I wish Lionsgate had simply licensed these movies out.

The $40 level seems to,really be pushing it for what is mostly marginal material. At this price point I'm going to be really selective about what I buy.

I managed to get Blood Diner & Chopping Mall for $19.99 a piece at one of the local Amoeba Music stores. So happy about that.
I think it was a price-mistake as another copy of Blood Diner I saw in the store was marked $32.99.

I'll need to really think about The Gate. I loved that movie growing up, but when I watched it for a horror challenge a couple years back, I didn't feel like it held up as well.
