The Godfather 50th anniversary. I don’t know if this is official artwork since it’s still almost 2 years away.

Re: UHD release announcements

And it just lists “Godfather III”, so I’m guessing this was created before Coppola did the new version coming out.

Re: UHD release announcements

I get that they want to wait for the 50th Anniversary, but kind of odd to hype up something that’s still quite a ways off.

Re: UHD release announcements

Zero details available so far, but James Merendino announced of Facebook that Sony is planning a 4K release for SLC Punk.

2 am just got the news Sony is extending the license for SLC Punk to 2034 so they can make and re release the movie on 4K.

Hopefully it doesn't take 14 years

No need for this unless the PQ is astounding. My previous blu copies will do.

It shouldn't be. The Limited Edition release probably is but Arrow then released a Keepcase Version as well, which seems to be In Stock on their site as well as Amazon UK.

I bought the most recent Oldboy release from Arrow. I'll pick up the 4K release if it is a significant A/V upgrade.

It's whatever version is still on the Arrow UK site, presumably a less fancy version. I don't know.

Re: UHD release announcements

Millennium Actress (UK release via Anime Limited)
- First 4K HDR UHD Blu-ray release in the world
- Available as UHD Blu-ray / Blu-ray Combo
- Collector's packaging featuring new artwork
- Bonus poster
- 44-page booklet packed with info on the film and its history

US Blu-ray/DVD was released by ELEVEN ARTS and distributed by Shout! Factory (https://www.shoutfactory.com/product...roduct_id=7239). I'm not sure if ELEVEN ARTS with Shout! Factory can manage a 4K release (maybe sharing cost with Anime Limited?). As of right now, it's unclear if there will be a US release.

Hey, it's the guy from Rogue One!

Spoiler:

But seriously, what's this film series like? Is this the gory one or is that Oldboy?

You're talking about IP Man? Just pull up some trailers on YouTube.

It's a martial arts film series loosely based on the life of Bruce Lee's master.

Re: UHD release announcements

Yeah...odd comment Milo.

Ill snatch this up day 1. Great series, and I’d be great to have the first 3 on 4K as well. Guess it’s a quarter double dip.
