So is this film that good? I don't like how they formatted the set. It's as if you get two DVDs as special features discs and a barebones Blu-ray for the feature.

I priced that deluxe set and it ballooned from $19.99 to $29.99 with tax and shipping. $8.50 to ship to Cali? Yeah, no.

It had some fun moments, but overall, I wouldn't watch it again.

There's always the option of the Canadian Steelbook put out by Raven Banner Entertainment.

I think I originally paid around $24.99 (Shipped) for that one.

If you are Region-Free and don't care about Special Features, the UK Release can be had cheaper than any of the Region 1 offerings.

I thought it was a fun, gory film with a retro '80s apocalyptic movie feel. Overall, I thought it succeeded in what it was trying to accomplish, but it won't blow your mind. I watched it with a big group, and while we all acknowledged there were issues with the movie, all of us had a lot of fun watching it.

I'll have to keep my eyes on this one. I'll pick it up if I can find a good price.

So, I've been wanting to buy this for a while, but couldn't justify the price tag on Amazon. Currently there is a sale on the "2 Year Anniversary Edition" from Epic Pictures: https://epic-pictures.com/merchandis...imited-edition

Each box includes a T-shirt, the 3-Disc Ultra Turbo Charged Collector's Edition DVD/Bluray set, a mini poster and one of three enamel pins.

Total shipped is $38.49. Just buying it by itself on Amazon is about the same price.

Anyone else getting big America 3000 vibes from this one?
