Black Moon Rising was the most recent movie to be issued on CED videodisc.
Guess I should get around to watching my Nixon laserdisc, since the forthcoming blu-ray will include the theatrical cut. Got the laserdisc because that was the only way to get that til now. |

I have an old DVD of Black Moon Rising, which I haven't seen in ages. I don't recall much about the movie other than it had a cool score by Carpenter and a nifty futuristic car that Jones drove.
It's a decent cast for an 80's B movie. With a re-mastered picture, it might be worth getting. I know the old 80's print look horrendously dated now. |

By the way, if you order "The Outer Limits" Season Two they automatically include the "replacement disc" with the shipment (they still have the original stock with the "bad" disc).

Is $11.95 the list price on those? That's pretty low for Kino, and you can't even find those in many stores. Those 4 titles were already on Mill Creek though priced pretty low (Father Hood and Life With Mikey was a double feature disc) how well did those sell and how many people who missed those are going to pick these up?
