re: The One and Only Kino Lorber Blu-ray Thread
WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE is an top-notch B picture. Hauer and Simmons are still kicking around, as is the director Gary Sherman, and if he can do a commentary for a real dog like Poltergeist III, he can do one for a much better picture like this one. I don't recall any decent supplements on the old Anchor Bay edition, besides trailers, so fingers crossed.

The silence has been broken... Dark, absorbing and entertaining, this follow-up to The Silence of the Lambs is an audacious success. Screen legend Anthony Hopkins (Nixon) is perverse perfection in his return to the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter, the sophisticated killer who comes out of hiding to draw FBI Special Agent Clarice Starling (Julianne Moore, Far from Heaven) into a high-stakes battle that will test her strength, cunning... and loyalty. Meanwhile, the good doctor’s only surviving victim plots a particularly nasty revenge. Drenched in baroque terror and hair-raising visuals, Hannibal is as compelling as it is shocking. Legendary filmmaker Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner, The Martian) served up this smash-hit thriller from a screenplay by David Mamet (Glengarry Glen Ross) and Steven Zaillian (Schindler’s List), based on the bestselling novel by Thomas Harris (Red Dragon). Ray Liotta (Unforgettable), Giancarlo Giannini (Seven Beauties) and Gary Oldman (Darkest Hour) round out the delectable cast. Also available on DVD!

I only have Hannibal on the old 2 disc DVD, so I'll definitely consider the 4K if it's not too expensive. Considering Kino is a small label, I'll anticipate it will be a minimum of $25 to start.

re: The One and Only Kino Lorber Blu-ray Thread
Happy to see William Hurt in THE DOCTOR get a quality Blu-Ray release, but honestly... when will anyone wrestle CHILDREN OF A LESSER GOD away from Paramount and get it out in Blu-Ray? THE DOCTOR disc even gets a commentary from Randa Haines, director of both of these terrific films.

VON RICHTHOFEN AND BROWN (1971)
with optional English subtitles
• Chivalry in Warfare: Corman, Von Richthofen and Brown
• Theatrical Trailer
Color 97 Minutes 1.85:1 Rated PG-13
The sky’s the limit for adventure! Two of history’s most fabled flyboys square off in daring, acrobatic duels of death in Von Richthofen and Brown, a high-flying tale of famous battles and infamous daredevils. Baron Manfred von Richthofen (John Phillip Law, Death Rides a Horse), Germany’s legendary Red Baron, is an aristocratic knight of the skies. But his chivalrous sense of honor doesn’t mean he’s merciful—some eighty pilots have lost their lives to this steel-willed ace of aces. In contrast, Canadian wheat farmer Roy Brown (Don Stroud, Search and Destroy) couldn’t care less about honor. He lives, the enemy dies—in any way Brown can make it happen. So, when these two very different men go head-to-head in a winner-take-all showdown, it’s a swooping, bullet-filled confrontation that puts their skill—and their courage—to the ultimate test. The stellar cast includes Barry Primus (Avalanche), Corin Redgrave (When Eight Bells Toll), Hurd Hatfield (The Picture of Dorian Gray), Stephen McHattie (Jesse Stone: Stone Cold) and Ferdy Mayne (The Fearless Vampire Killers). Wonderfully shot by Michael Reed (On Her Majesty’s Secret Service), with a screenplay by Joyce Hooper Corrington (The Omega Man) and John William Corrington (Boxcar Bertha). Top-notch direction by legendary filmmaker Roger Corman (The Secret Invasion, Target: Harry, Tales of Terror).
