LOTR Trilogy Extras difference?
I have all the DVD extras from behind the scenes and the Appendices but wondering if these are also on the Blu-Ray set as well.

Re: LOTR Trilogy Extras difference?
In my copy of the basic trilogy, the special features were on dvd discs. Only the three basic movies were on bluray discs.
(This might be different in the extended versions of the movies?) |

Didn't the EE Blus include all of the extras including the Costa Gravas docs?

But like the DVD"s before them, to get the full set of extras available for the LOTR trilogy you need the extras discs for both the EE and theatrical releases. I believe the same is true for the Hobbit releases. And there may be even more LOTR extras only available of those bonus discs that came with special sets that included firgures and the like. |

The key is that the theaterical and EE version extras do not overlap. Great for collectors since so often extras overlap from release to release. Bad for people that only buy the EEs or only the theaterical releases. |
