Special Features on a separate Blu-Ray? Neat!

Is this the only type of packaging for this? Like to get this one, hope stores don't have regular cases.

looking on blu-ray.com, the features equal out to about an hour 45, probably Anchor Bay didn't want to compress everything on one disc, as they def could have, side eyes Lions Gate putting Catching Fire (a 145 minute movie) and about 165 minutes worth of extras all on one disc, & a DTS MA 7.1 track

That image is misleading. This has a slip cover where the front folds out but the discs are housed in a standard Blu-ray case.

One of my favorites of the year and it's finally coming out.

That's a great looking package, glad to see some studios still care about the whole presentation.

Seems obvious that's it's just a slipcover with a opening flap on the front.

I wish they would do this more often, or at least give us different images on the slip.

Here is a review:

I don't think this one was released by a Hollywood studio, so no UV copy.

Watched this tonight. What a fantastic film. Really surprised it didn't get a theatrical release. I'll pick it up during Black Friday if it goes on sale.

it did. Made 4 million bucks in the US, which is a lot for an indie essentially dumped by Weinstein http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=snowpiercer.htm

I meant a real opening. With only 356 theaters, it never stood a chance. Even if they would have released it in March in 1,500 theaters (and expanded as needed), the word of mouth would have been strong enough to make it alot more money than it did. That foreign take is pretty good though.

They also released this to streaming services and DTV on demand within a week or two of the theatrical date so I'm sure that cut into it. I saw it in a theater but had I known I could have watched it at home I probably would have done so.

Yeah, it made about $3.9m in theaters in its first 5 weeks, it made $3.8m on VOD in its first 2 weeks.
